Panini America’s New HQ Taking Shape

March 11, 2011

They say time flies when you’re having fun, which must be the reason why it seems simply unfathomable that two full weeks have passed since Panini America’s big corporate relocation. Admittedly, 10 working days should be more than enough time to gather my bearings in the new building, but I still tend to get lost amid the labyrinthine layout of the place.

Not to worry. With nifty new landmarks being added every day in the name of interior decoration, there should soon be enough visual breadcrumbs lining our walls to ensure that I never get lost again.

Little-known fact: In addition to possessing a brawny marketing brain, our very own Scott Prusha also wields something of a deft design touch, which is why Panini America CEO Mark Warsop tasked him with sprucing up our new building even before we left our old one. Equipped with a bevy of oversized card props used at various shows and events during the last few years, a vast and varied roster of trading card products from the last three decades and a healthy devotion for Panini’s venerable knight mascot, Prusha recently began the pivotal process of bringing the office to life.

We’ll provide a full video tour of the new-and-improved Panini America headquarters once the process is completed. Until then, here’s a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a work in progress. As you’ll discover by perusing the telling gallery below, one of the great perks of working here is, well, working here.

Pretty slick. All those giant cards look really cool. I like the old 1982 Donruss Golf card boxes. My dad bought a ton of those back in the day.

Nice stuff. I’d love a tour at some point. Panini is my favorite card manufacturer.

How’s the new office feeling? Just down the hall from the big wigs, right?

Just imagine being the person to come into work and see that Justin Bieber mega-card staring through your office door every day LOL! It’s great to see the company respecting thier history with those displays…

Where are the stadium seats from??

The orange ones are from the vaunted Mile High Stadium; the blues are from Texas Stadium.

Wow, you guys didn’t spare any expense nice new digs.

How can collectors get their hands on those enlarged “cards/posters” in the pics? I know you guys use them at events, but does Panini sell them? I have the same question for the Kevin Durant and John Wall poster/photos that they signed and were featured on the Knight’s Lance? Thanks

Hey, Charles. We typically keep those blow-ups for the express purpose of office design, but they are very cool. Perhaps we can work up a contest around them one of these days. As for all of our Panini Authentic memorabilia featuring Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and John Wall, we officially launch Panini Authentic in May. In fact, we just did another signing with Kobe tonight. Very cool dude.

Check http://www.paniniauthentic.com now . . . and get ready for May.

I think I would give my right leg for that jumbo Polamalu card. Steelers are my PC and that is all I collect. Are you ever going to do anything with those jumbo cards?
