Panini America on Location: Preparing for the 2011 NHLPA Rookie Showcase

TORONTO, Ontario — A hearty, hockey-loving contingent from Panini America flew north of the border Sunday morning to begin making final preparations for the 2011 NHLPA Rookie Showcase, a mega two-day event that will give Panini America photographers and product developers unparalleled access to images, autographs and memorabilia from 27 of the NHL’s top rookie prospects.

Headlining this year’s event at the MasterCard Centre will be Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, the first overall pick of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, as well as fellow top-five picks Gabriel Landeskog (No. 2 overall, Colorado Avalanche), Jonathan Huberdeau (No. 3 overall, Florida Panthers), Adam Larsson (No. 4 overall, New Jersey Devils) and Ryan Strome (No. 5 overall, New York Islanders).

    Glad to be back to Knights lance. With the storm and new addition to the family have been busy. Always look forward to the events you guys go to. You do great behind the scenes coverage and sharing it with the rest of us. Thanks! Cant wait to see!

    Even though i don’t follow NHL ( I really must pick a team) and only picked an NFL team the other day (Patriots). It’s always good to see the videos and pictures you upload, as they are always interesting. You guys are bloody lucky to do what you do!

      You’ll get no argument from me, Rhys. I thank my lucky stars every day! I think your Pats are going to do OK this year. Our VP of marketing is a huge Pats fan. By the way, caught some F1 highlights this morning.
