The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2011 Totally Certified Football (52 Images)

March 14, 2012

From mesmerizing effects of the microetching to sweet on-card autographs from 36 top rookies to a unique memorabilia-card mix, 2011 Totally Certified Football has a lot to offer collectors who still aren’t ready to say “goodbye” to the memorable 2011 NFL season.

I should know. I just spent the better part of my morning poring over the contents of one quality control case that Panini America NFL Brand Manager Carlos Torrez was nice enough to share with me — the highlights of which can be seen in the revealing gallery that follows.

To be sure, when 2011 Totally Certified Football goes live next week, it will begin a rapid dash to the end of the 2011 NFL football card season for Panini America, to be followed by 2011 National Treasures, 2011 Panini Playbook and 2011 Prime Signatures.

But for now, let’s take the time to totally, certifiably enjoy the beauty of what comes next: A Totally Certified product that delivers two autographs and four memorabilia cards per box and the stirring, virtual-cards-become-reality conclusion to Panini America’s season-long association with the 2011 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week promotion.

Love the microetching on the cards. Makes the product really stand out, reminds me of the cards from the 90’s (foil, dufex). Those rookie autographs look great…Great stuff!

Looks like a decent product. I just hope there are not as many redemptions as 2011 Limited Football.
