The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2012 Score Football (50 Must-See Images)

July 9, 2012

The release of Score Football is an annual rite of pigskin passage, a fun-for-all-ages football release that signifies for countless collectors every year the start of a new collecting season with a little something for everyone at a $1 pack price that’s impossible to beat.

But 2012 Score Football, packing out now in advance of next Wednesday’s national release date, might just be the most value-packed edition in the set’s proud 24-year existence. As you’ll see in the expansive Quality Control gallery below, 2012 Score Football is absolutely loaded.

What’s in store, you ask? Glossy parallels . . . autographs . . . Printing Plate 1/1s . . . one Rookie Card in every pack . . . updated rookie photography . . . a handful of numbered parallels . . . the list goes on and on and on.

Take a look and let us know your thoughts.

I love that you guys added printing plates! Thats incredible. The look of the product and the price are awesome. Action photography, rookies in NFL uni’s, Printing plates, autos, just everything you want. But what really caught my eye was the re-done look of the Hot Rookies. Its always been about the flames and I think this years look to it is mind blowing. I really like the color and design chosen. Makes the Rookie jump off the cardboard. Kudos to the design team for that one.

I always like Score….and this years, like every NFL product you guys have previewed so far..looks like a HUGE improvement over the previous years product and even the couple of new ones look tremendous. You guys are in for a very strong 2012 NFL Card season and us collectors are very happy about it.

Huge fan of that base set. Not as sold on the rookies but the auto ones are nice.

    Tracy,
Are those buybacks of the old score RCs?
Also, Osweiler looks like a giant in that card, is he huge in person.
    The Tannehill looks sharp.
    Thanks,
    T

Glad you like what you see, Tom. Just wanted to point out that the three inserts/parallels that will be numbered are the Artist’s Proofs, Red Zone and End Zone.

really love that the parallels are numbered again, i collected the full set of Daquan Bowers last year and was disappointed the cards were unnumbered as in previous years.

Keep it up guys, Score is the best product of the year. Price point is huge these days and out of control. Hard for kids to get into collecting when their allowance might get them a pack. Now they can easily get a blaster or more. Great job!

I love this product it is my favorite out of all the releases. I collect all score autos and sps. I have about 19 autos but only 1 hot rookie auto. Do the insert autos exist? I have been looking and never seen one.
