November 2, 2012

Voters on NFL.com have made their choice. Quarterback Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts is the Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Week for games played on October 25-29, the NFL announced today. Luck completed 26-of-38 passes for 297 yards and one touchdown as the Colts beat the Tennessee Titans, 19-13, in overtime.

Luck was selected from among five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com. The other finalists were running back Vick Ballard of the Indianapolis Colts, running back Doug Martin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, running back Trent Richardson of the Cleveland Browns and safety Harrison Smith of the Minnesota Vikings.

Agree, Luck had an average start, and against the Titans to top it off. Martin had a huge game to upset the Vikings.

I second that. Doug Martin had a great game by any standards.
