Luck’s on Our Side: Panini Authentic, Colts Rookie Star Team Up for Second Signing

December 6, 2012

Panini Authentic Second Luck Signing 3

Earlier this week, during Tuesday’s traditional off day for NFL players and mere hours after another one of Andrew Luck’s hair-raising comeback victories (this time a Lion-taming bit of theatrics against Detroit), the Indianapolis Colts’ young superstar quarterback was rubbing elbows with Panini Authentic’s Brian Bayne.

The reason: The company’s newest exclusive athlete was participating in this second private signing, leaving his indelible mark on a new selection of limited-edition memorabilia that should hit the Panini Authentic Website just in time for the holiday shopping season.

On the to-sign list this week were several new additions to Panini Authentic’s Andrew Luck collection, most notably special “Salute to Service” footballs that Luck inscribed with the date (11/4/12) and passing yards total (433) from the Colts’ 23-20 victory over Miami when Luck established a new single-game record for passing yards by a rookie. Luck also signed authentic helmets, jerseys and Breast Cancer Awareness footballs on Tuesday.

In the gallery below, we take you behind the scenes of that signing. Enjoy, and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional updates.

I love the fact he’s rocking a Bruce Springsteen shirt. Luck is just fine in my book.
