Kobe, Kyrie, KD and More Headline the List of Live Autos in 2012-13 National Treasures

National_Treasures Autos

It’s Monday of National Treasures Release Week, which means Panini America is now just two days away from launching one of the most anticipated NBA trading card products in years. 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball goes live on Wednesday packing the kind of super-premium bells and whistles that will reverberate throughout the collecting universe for quite some time.

We’ve previewed many of the set’s finer assets right here on The Knight’s Lance in the last few weeks, including the impeccable selection of Kobe Bryant autographs slated for inclusion and a gallery of the set’s to-die-for Printing Plates and patch cards. Today, we’re bringing you a must-see ensemble showcasing some of 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball’s top-flight signature selections.

Here are a few notable highlights worth mentioning before you get to the eye candy, though. Obviously, you already know that Kobe Bryant has live autographs in the product. But so does Kyrie Irving . . . and Kevin Durant . . . and Dwight Howard. Dwight Howard? Indeed, for the first time ever in a Panini America product, Howard will have certified autograph cards. It marks Howard’s first autographed cards of any kind since the 2009-10 NBA season.

Kobe, Kyrie, KD, Howard, Anthony Davis . . . the checklist goes on and on and on. Check out just some of the thrills in the gallery below, and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance later today or tomorrow for one more must-see gallery — this one detailing the set’s spectacular Logomen cards.

Those are some colorful patches! I like the personalization on some of the autos as well.

WOW! What an amazing lineup of ON-card auto’s. Kudos Panini! Still don’t understand how Kyrie can sign 5 versions of oncard sigs for this set, yet he has outstanding redemptions from 2011 limited….?????

Wally, not sure what gallery you’re looking at but there is a overwhelming majority of sticker autos in the images of these NT cards. Really seems a shame on this, the highest end (and highest priced) NBA product being made today.

Does Ersan happen to have live autographs as well??

Also can we see the complete checklist? Thanks!

These are the best cards I’ve ever seen!
I wonder if National Treasures will ever have Prizm technology? I hope so for sure!
    Thanks Tracy!

      awesome preview
the best product of the year
      and probably for all ages..
      with kyrie rookie cards/autos live
good value for collectors and card shop owners
dwight howard first auto is cool..
hopefully you get rose/carmelo to sign too…
agree with PinoyKingJames, i wanted to fill my house
      with NT boxes…

my suggestion to panini, some boxes (limited) should be signed by your stars
(e.g. Kobe, KD, Kyrie, Wade, Howard etc)… this will add value to unopened cases or
      unpeeled boxes..

this has been done before by some bankrupt company i wont name..but
it would still be a good idea.. hopefully you consider this… the boxes looks
good and would be collectors material with signed boxes..it would be awesome..

and to all panini haters… dont hate the player hate the game…

      thanks tracy

Beautiful cards! I have to admit though, it is disappointing to see so many sticker autos on such an expensive high-end product.

      nothing panini can do..
either that or wait for redemptions..
this basketball stars schedule is so hectic that if they want to
they wont sign any cards at all..

just enjoy every auto, on card or not…
if i am kobe bryant.. i wont be signing 1000s of autos
i have enough money and just wont care…
lets just be thankful that panini manages to get their autos
      on card or sticker…

as the saying goes.. better be sticker than no auto at all…

I appreciate that, but how do [other manufacturers] manage it with [higher-end products]?
        I prefer quality over quantity.

I don’t get it… why you have stickers auto on a high end product.
You have ruined that parker card with a sticker auto…

Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving RPAs are numbered to 199? Exactly how overproduced is this year’s NT?
