A Kobe Bryant Immaculate Primer: Peeking the Superstar’s Stunning New Arrivals

October 16, 2013

Panini America 2012-13 Immaculate Basketball Kobe Bryant (2)

As the collecting world anxiously awaits the arrival of Panini America’s powder-keg conclusion to the 2012-13 NBA collecting season (first with the release of Flawless Basketball next Friday followed a few weeks later by Immaculate Basketball), the product developments for those two releases keep getting better and better.

Late last week, Panini Authentic’s Brian Bayne traveled to Las Vegas for an extensive signing session with the incomparable Kobe Bryant, one of Panini America’s exclusive superstar spokesmen. In addition to autographing several new items for Panini Authentic, Bryant also added his priceless penmanship to every last one of his autographs slated for 2012-13 Immaculate Basketball.

The following gallery provides a tip-of-the-iceberg peek into these collection-making monuments. We’ll have plenty more to preview on Immaculate in the coming days and weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance. But today, is all about the immaculate — and the Immaculate — Kobe Bryant.

Enjoy.

Hopefully he added his signature to the rest of the redemptions everyone has been waiting this year on. It would be nice if outstanding redemptions were taken care of before new product were done.
Still waiting on momentum monumental marks and im sure other people are waiting on others.
Redemptions should be done away with.
And if its one of your spokesman. There should not be a redemption for their card. Those should be signed and in packs on release day.

Hate to be the one to tell you but photo (17) inscriptions 88/99 doesn’t have his black mamba nickname like the other one shown does–hope this was caught before packing!

Only two of the cards had the Black Mamba written. The others did not feature his nickname

These look great, stellar addition to the Immaculate lineup. Still digging those gold on black signatures. Thanks Tracy!

Wow! Overall great. However, I like it more when the picture of the athlete matches the swatch on the card. Example-the powder blue swatches with Kobe pictured in his yellow uniform don’t match. Minor complaint, I know.

With that said, any Kobe jersey/patch/auto would be sick to get out of a pack!!

would give anything to pull any one of them

Nice cards! Very Exquisite-like and the gold on black very UD Black-like. Still looks good though.
