Panini America February 17 Autos Correct (19)

If you think Panini America was crazy busy over the last four days in New Orleans during 2014 NBA All-Star Week, well, you’d be right. But things were moving at a blistering pace back in the office, too. How blistering? Glad you asked.

Over the last week, Panini America HQ has been on the receiving end of some absolute blockbuster on-card autograph arrivals from such juggernaut products as 2013 National Treasures Football2013 Crown Royale Football, 2014 Donruss Basketball2013-14 Crown Royale Hockey2013-14 Playbook Hockey2013-14 Gold Standard Basketball and 2013-14 Titanium Basketball.

The gallery that follows will serve as something of a visual checklist of the hard-signed headline-makers that have come in recent days — a collection of cornerstone cards that includes some of the sickest patches of the NFL season and a few hearthrob-level hockey Silhouettes. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of all of these products.

Ha, make EVERYONE sign their redemptions!

heard a lot of news from fellow collectors that they changed the player/card if they cant get the player sign the card @___@

      • February 17, 2014 10:31 pm

As in we alter the checklist if we know a player won’t sign?

      • February 17, 2014 11:18 pm

no tracy, they didnt receive the player on the redemption card, instead they receive different player. i think this happen if the cards is not available anymore :)

      • February 17, 2014 11:21 pm

We will trade a player out if we feel that the specific redemption card will never be available or if a collector chooses to take a replacement.

love anything w/ Denard on them, fellow Deerfield Beach High alumnus & took us to the State Semi-Finals, farthest we’ve ever been. #RunShoelaceRun!!! And anything that they add the nicknames like Birdmans are always cool. Really hope to get some, whether by winning, pulling myself or buying on market

How come the old school players autos look awesome and will detailed and the current player’s autos look like they are just learn how to write in cursive. Can we get anybody in Panini to tell these players that if they are taking the money then they have to actually produce something that’s not half a$$. Getting sick and tired of paying big money for products to see a player that I want to collect’s auto look like a cartoon character.

Panini should start sending the player’s autos back to the player to do again till they aren’t lazy scribbles of their initials. Come on already I can’t figure out what letters their initials are. If they are too lazy to do it for just two letters than what is the point of having an auto of that player.

Love the Kurt Rambis card. Has everything great about the 80′s basketball. The mullet, the dirty Tom Selleck mustache, the way too short shorts, and the big old dark brim glasses. Don’t really know if the young collectors would get excited seeing that card as their hit.

That Sayers inscribed card is definitely a standout to me, I’ve seen a number of his autos but never one like that. Thanks Tracy!
