Panini America Bringing Monahan, Strome to the 2014 Toronto Spring Expo

May 1, 2014

Expo Monahan Strome

Fans and collectors attending this weekend’s 2014 Toronto Spring Expo know what to expect when they visit the Panini America booth: High energy, a buzz that reverberates throughout the Toronto International Centre, smiling faces, wrapper-redemption hits aplenty and an authentic, feel-good hobby vibe. Something they might not expect? The opportunity to meet young NHL stars Sean Monahan of the Calgary Flames and Ryan Strome of the New York Islanders.

Monahan, the sixth overall pick of the 2013 NHL Draft, is coming off an impressive rookie season during which he scored 22 goals and tallied 12 assists. He will sign autographs and interact with fans at the Panini America booth on Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Collectors will receive one autograph — on an oversized Panini Private Signings card — for every two packs of 2013-14 Titanium Hockey they purchase at the show.

Collectors should bring their packs and boxes of 2013-14 Titanium Hockey to the Universal Distribution booth located directly across from the Panini America booth starting at 1 p.m. Friday to exchange it for their autograph tickets.

Strome, the fifth overall pick of the 2011 NHL Draft, got his first taste of NHL action this season and scored 18 points in 37 games. He will appear at the Panini America booth on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and will be signing both a Panini Private Signings oversized card as well as memorabilia items. Collectors who purchase two packs of 2013-14 Titanium Hockey and redeem them for an autograph ticket at the Universal Distribution booth, will receive a Strome-signed Private Signings card. For every box of 2013-14 Titanium Hockey purchased and redeemed through Universal Distribution, collectors can bring their own memorabilia item for Strome to sign.

Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of the 2014 Toronto Spring Expo.

Doing a great card show even better. Awesome! makes me wonder how Panini could outdo themselves next card show in Toronto without a hockey license. Its going to be hard so Panini have to be realy smart. I hope so.
