Panini America on Location: Kobe Bryant Cemented at Grauman’s Chinese Theater

February 23, 2011

LOS ANGELES — Five-time NBA champion and Panini Exclusive spokesman Kobe Bryant made history last week by becoming the first athlete to ever have his hands and feet cast in cement inside L.A.’s famed Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

Panini America co-sponsored the event and dispatched Tracy Hackler and Scott Prusha to brave the Hollywood paparazzi for the following video montage, featuring Bryant and A-list buddies such as George Lopez and Jimmy Kimmel.

    Kobe is the man.

The best basketball player is teamed up with the best trading card company.

People continue to hate and say “this other company does, this, this other company does that.”

Well this other company isn’t licensed and doesn’t have the Mamba in its stable.

    Thanks for sharing Panini.

tracy , thanks for the response! i know this has nothing to do with the above story, that by the way is great to watch but scott made me a true fan of this company in reaching out to take care of something that was not even in his department. shows to me that panini has the right people in place. you yourself are great for the company i really enjoy your write ups on facebook as he in my book went above and made me a loyal customer for life when i was getting ready to close the door and call it lost. thanks!!!

Love to hear stories like that. Scott’s one of the true good guys in this industry — and I have the good fortune of working next to him every day.
