Panini Unwrapped . . . On a Gondola?

November 1, 2011

Yes, on a gondola.

Indeed, the Panini America team made history on a recent trip to Italy by busting packs of trading cards on international waters from the cozy confines of a gondola in Venice, Italy. The resulting video chronicles what is believed to be the first video break of its kind in trading card history.

It was fun. It was adventurous. And if you stay tuned till the end, you’ll also know it produced at least one classic outtake. Enjoy.

Scott, “The card I pulled, King of Pop dude…”
Tracy, “Well, OK, they all say King of Pop”
    Scott, “Oh”

Poor Scott, Tracy had to come in and kill his excietment, hysterical.

While it may be the first video break in a gondola, I believe I was the first to have a video break on a boat in international waters about a year ago in the middle of the Atlantic/Caribbean. 🙂
