Golden Glimpse: Your First Look at 2010-11 Totally Certified Basketball’s Gold HRX 1/1s

January 20, 2012

It occurred to us here at The Knight’s Lance recently that in our haste to bring you all of the exciting developments surrounding the upcoming Panini America NBA releases, we may have forgotten to share with you the gilded greatness of the pioneering HRX Gold 1/1 autographed video trading cards from the 2010-11 Totally Certified Basketball.

Well, this morning we aim to make that right with this exclusive gallery of the four 14-karat-gold-covered collecting cornerstones — starring Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin and John Wall — before we send them to their respective owners.

For more information on all the hubbub Panini America’s pioneering HRX video trading cards created, check out this, this, this, this and this.

Ohhhh, pretty. How long until there’s a 30 card set with 1 card, $300 pack?

    Could be huge!

Brilliant looking machines, only talking to someone who is waiting on one of these a day or two ago.

Wow! Love the integration of technology and collectability. It gets back to the notion I had of an auto’s card that not only commemorates Griffin’s huge rookie campaign, but contains clips from his most impressive games.
Btw? Ignore that 30 card $300/1 card per pack idea mentioned above, Ryan is clearly feverish!
Great looking stuff gentleman, really impressive.

I Would have Loved to see this cards get inscribed… Considering how rare they a rare inscribed auto seems appropriate but there are no complaints coming from this guy either way!!! In the Future I would Love to see Panini have players Inscribe there jersey # cards and there 1/1 those cards truly do bring premium value and a Special auto would make them even more special acknowledging the rarity of the card with a rare auto…. Thanks for giving us a forum to express our thoughts Jesse

Sweet holders on those cards! I like how they are signed on the back, and numbered by the player.

That Durant is headed my way! Can’t wait to have it in hand… it will be the crown jewel in the collection… Any idea when they will ship out?

    • January 22, 2012 11:40 pm

We have back-to-back shows coming up in Ottawa (NHL All-Star Game) and Indianapolis (Super Bowl XLVI), but I would hope these cards get sent out this week.

The HRX 1/1 Golds are Amazing Literally the Best cards I have even seen in My Life!!!! Not Only are they the 1/1s of the First video Cards but they are Made of Gold too WOW did not see that coming!!!! You Guys should start making the National Treasures Logoman 1/1s of Gold… if not in Treasures in Something but Certified and Treasures are top Dog on Earth Right Now and the Gold idea is so AWESOME!!! I personally wouldnt Mind seeing a set were the star player cards are Made of Gold /99 with Gold logoman 1/1 Auto rcs (Or Gold Hrx on the Front Logoman Auto on the back) and the plain RC’s Gold HRX autos /10 Awesomeness!!!! You guys could charge 1k a pack or make 10000 boxes and auction them off starting at 1k!!!!!!! Regardless of My Dreams I Love the cards you Guys Make Panini is much better than Upper Deck in My Opinion your cards are Great what will You come Up with next??? Greatness Im Sure!!!!!
