Updated Image Gallery: Pack Out Continues for 2011 National Treasures Football

March 16, 2012

You take one day off to spend with the kids on the last day of spring break and what happens? Pack out begins for 2011 National Treasures Football, only one of the most important sports card releases of the year. So, while I’m having the time of my life at home playing “Life” with my two sons, some of the sweetest football cards of the year are being hand-collated at the Panini America printing facility.

Luckily for all of us, good buddy Kevin Haake is on location helping with the process and snapping as many pictures as possible along the way. What follows are the first of what promise to be many preview images we’ll update throughout the day.

Haake’s first batch of images includes some of the product’s true calling cards, including Rookie Cards, cut signatures and some downright history-making booklet cards. There’s a word for what you’re about to see, even given the less-than-ideal lighting conditions at printing facility. And that word is, “Wow!”

Amazing looking! NT always delivers year in and year out. I can’t wait to see Woodson auto’s in a Packers uniform in this.

Too much worthless (to me) photo shoot relics and the few cards that do have game used veteran relics are ruined by sticker autos. Better luck next year…

That thud you all heard? Yeah, that was me hitting the floor.
From the cut-autos to the super-phat patch rookie cards, this product is over-the-top magnificent!
Is the MSRP the same as always, around $500? Seriously, the rookie gallery made my eyes water and elevated my heart rate.

This product blows everything else away. The only way to make it better is on card autos. Thanks again Panini. Marty

They likely produce the rookie cards at the Rookie Premiere and get them ‘graphed there. They then insert the cut up jerseys. Hence, it’s all done before they take their first snap in a regular season game.

You had me at the Jim Thorpe booklet. The card on the right, with Thorpe in an Olympic uniform, what is that patch from? It looks like it is a swatch from a Canton jersey? I know they wore black sweater/jerseys at one point, a jersey would be so cool.

NT has always been a solid product even if the price is about $75-100 higher than it should be per box.

I need to try and land me Dan Marino for a friend of mine who collects “Dan The Man” !EVERY car in this gallery is GREAT! Thanks again Panini for putting out yet ANOTHER great looking product!

Mr. Hackler, Treasures has been my favorite product since it was first introduced to the hobby. I am happy Panini has not compromised the quality of this product, which in my opinion remains the BEST product for the money, year after year! Thanks for sharing.
