Final Cuts: Panini America Offers One Last Pre-Release Look at 2011 Prime Cuts

April 8, 2012

We’ve shown you the history-making bat barrel cards, including the first for Shoeless Joe Jackson. We’ve shown you the otherworldly booklets that combine cut autographs and game-worn memorabilia from some of the greatest baseball players of all time. We’ve shown you a staggering assortment of prime-memorabilia cards that demands second and third and even fourth looks.

Indeed, we’ve shown you a little bit of everything that 2011 Prime Cuts Baseball has to offer up to this point. But we’re not done just yet. With the product shipping in the next few days, we wanted to offer one final pre-release peek that includes a whole new batch of stage-setting images.

Just when you thought you’d seen it all, we offer the following tantalizing tease that includes, among other niceties, tons of Draft Pick Autographs, even more tradition-rich prime memorabilia cards and a small preview of some of the current MLBPA superstars that dot the checklist.

Enjoy. Here’s hoping the next time you see these gems, you’ll be pulling them from packs.

Yet another truly epic gallery, this stuff looks amazing. I’m very happy to see so much Thurman Munson, he’s my father’s all time favorite. Thanks for the final preview Tracy!

Well, I thought that the first couple looks couldn’t get better. Obviously I am wrong. I keep coming back here to look at the gallery. It keeps calling my name…hahaha. Once I get a case I’m gonna have to stop everything to open it!!

Thanks again for the update Tracy. Keep the pictures coming. Can’t Wait!!!

Wow beautiful cards, im usually just a basketball guy, but these are nice! How much are they gonna run a box?

Don’t get me wrong, i love many of these final peek cards, but i’d rather not have in my pack something labeled “prospect” or “draft pick”. I’m into the product for the immortals, not for some still unknown rookie. I really hope I won’t be among the lucky ones pulling cards that clearly belong to other, less pricey products.

WOW!!! Can’t wait to get my hands on some of the Josh Hamilton cards from this. These look amazing, even without being able to use team logo’s. Great job.

I love how some of the memorabilia cards look like the text of player name is designed directly onto the card. That’s definitely one of the more creative things I’ve seen recently, like the Pujols right up front.

now that the product is out and is frankly unacceptable, with all those cheap prospects, I’d like someone from Panini to show up and explain why, instead, it is so cool..
You failed big time on this, guys..
