Panini America’s Weekly Redemption Card Update: Catching Up on Last Two Weeks

August 10, 2012

First things first: We apologize for missing last week’s Panini America Redemption Card Update. We had good intentions, but the National Sports Collectors Convention in Baltimore took us out of our normal routine. But we’re back on track this week with a simply massive Redemption Card Update detailing two weeks worth of fulfillment.

So, in our continuing effort to keep collectors updated on the status of those Panini America redemption cards that are currently being processed, we’ll post a list, like the one included in the attachments below, detailing the most recent cards being fulfilled this week.

The following list is intended to inform collectors about which redemption cards from which products are being processed this week. We’ll update this list every Friday afternoon, so stay tuned next week if you don’t see your card here.

This week’s report includes a number of “rebatched” redemptions — cards from widely broken products that have been previously redeemed but required subsequent shipments due to high volume. In addition, we’ve also added yellow highlights for those cards that were redeemed via replacement. Finally, any multi-signed cards in this report featuring replaced players have been stamped “NO AUTOGRAPH” in that player’s designated signing area.

If you have specific redemption questions, you can contact the Panini America Customer Service department via email at hobby@paniniamerica.net and the Panini America Customer Service Manager via Twitter.

I arrived home today to one of the cads from the list in my mailbox, the Marcel Dareus Totally Certified Blue. Any news on the Contenders auto for him? Thanks as always Tracy!

Tracy, Is Panini going to make the David Anderson and/or the Dante Cunningham 09-10 Crown Royale auto’d RC? I have had a redemption for the Anderson in your system since Aug 3, 2010. That’s two years by my count!!! I have used the system to inquire about the card on a few occasions but have never been able to sollicit a response. What gives? Also, regarding the Cunningham, I have never seen one or its redemption available anywhere. I’m a set builder and those are the last two cards necessary for that set. How long is it reasonable to wait before you as a company just cut your losses and announce you’re not making the card(s)?

In the same vein, if either Anderson or Cunningham sign their cards now, are they truly rookie autographs? As you well know, auto’d cards from a player’s sophmore season (or junior or beyond) carry less value then their rookie autos. If a player actually signs during his 2nd, 3rd or 4th year, how can it truly be called a rookie auto? Just curious.

Hey Tracey, any word on Cam Fowler’s Contenders Rookie Tickets?? It is the last one needed to complete the set. He seems to have signed everything else on the market.
