The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2012 Absolute Football (97 Must-See Pics)

December 4, 2012

Panini America 2012 Absolute Football QC (98)

One week from tomorrow, Panini America’s 2012 Absolute Football hits hobby shops everywhere equipped with some new-looks inserts, a tried-and-true content formula, a breathtaking crop of rookies and, as a result, a sense of heightened expectations. Last weekend, we shared a small glimpse at the product through a table-setting sneak peek from Absolute’s recently completed QC process.

Today, though, we’re pulling the curtain all the way back on the hit-per-pack juggernaut with 97 new images, including a must-see assortment of base cards, parallels, inserts, autographs and memorabilia. It’s all here — the superstar newcomers, the game’s greatest legends and the best veterans of today — for your viewing pleasure.

We’ll have plenty more on 2012 Absolute Football right here on The Knight’s Lance in the coming days. But for now, sit back, relax and take your sweet time with this all-you-care-to-view, eye-candy buffet.

Great Cards, but they are usually to much for the average collectors. I get mine form Target but never find the good inserts!

AWESOME Job on this year’s Absolute guys! I haven’t bought Absolute for years because I got screwed by the last company who had made them and I was so upset that I never bought them again! But after seeing these pictures AND now that Panini has the license I am going to have to put this on my Christmas List! GREAT JOB Guys and you have an Old Customer of Absolute coming BACK to Absolute! Thank you 🙂

I gotta say, the base rookie autos look pretty good. /299? It would be nice to pull atleast a really sick low numbered patch card per box at minimum for the money if your not getting any descent names or low numbered parrallells. I bought two boxes last year and ea. yeilded 2 base rookies of no-names /299, plain jane jersey card or triple NFL jersey /100 card and a redemption for another lame no-name rookie auto that I couldnt even sell and get rid of as I wouldnt receive it for months. Not too happy.

That was well worth the visit to the knights lance. Really like how this product always glistens. Looks spectacular. The Panini NFL team should be very proud of 2012

These cards look incredible! I really like the base design as well as the the verticle rookie premiere auto jerseys instead of last year’s horizontal design. I also like the use of all jerseys or patches instead of the usually jersey/football/jersey design. Great Job guys! You keep blowing me away every time you release a gallery of new cards! Can’t wait to get some!

P.S. Tracy, I love the snow falling in the background. It really gets me into the Holiday spirit!

Love it! Wish I could take credit for the snow, but it’s the magic of WordPress.

WOW! I really like the triple jersey teammates cards and the Foles with the large 9 swatch. Always liked absolute!

I like the snow effect too. Goes along with the fire from my wood stove very well!!

While I selfishly enjoy the variety of Colts rookies in the product, a few other cards actually stood out more to me. I really like the design of the Strahan auto, the inclusion of a laundry tag patch for Sapp and the fact that the Kuechly auto is in his full Panthers uniform (most of them this year haven’t been up to Gridiron, pointed out by my good friend sictopher2024 on YouTube). It’s these nuances and of course the overall enormity of the release that makes this one a big hit already for me, thanks Tracy!

This set looks to be the best of 2012 so far. You can tell a lot of hard work went into this. Again, the full uniforms for the rookies is great to see. I also like the variety of autograph subsets and the heavy inclusion of veterans. Can’t wait to see more of this set!
