TT_BLOG_THUMB

In this history-making first 2013 edition of Panini Unwrapped, Panini America’s Tracy Hackler and Keith Hower rip two tasty tins of the new 2012-13 Timeless Treasures Basketball. In addition to discovering some pretty sweet cards in those tins (including one of the unique Revolution Materials memorabilia cards), the duo also discusses the future of Hower’s facial hair.

After you’ve watched the video, we welcome your thoughts on that topic as well as your thoughts on the new 2012-13 Timeless Treasures Basketball. What do you like? What do you think of the redesigned Glass Rookie autographed RCs? What would you like to see done differently? Answer any or all of these questions in the comments section below and we’ll award a handful of respondents with a few tins of 2012-13 Timeless Treasures for the effort.

Oh, down below, just past the embedded video, we’ve also provided a link to the complete product checklist.

Enjoy.

If i hadn’t just gotten married and expecting a rookie of my own i would be buying this product up!! 2013 is gonna be a crasy year….in a good way.

As another Keith who grew a beard last winter as part of our school’s fundraiser for cancer research, I completely understand Keith’s perspective. I was SO ready to shave it off after 8 weeks! It is nice to be follicly enhanced for a while, but I think it is nicer to be follicly challenged!! Just my opinion!!

I must say I truly like the Black design as it makes the cards stand out. The glass rookie is a great idea but not sure for the long run how well the autographs will last (main concern for collectors). I think for future products whatever material is used for signing will help keep the condition of the autograph for collectors.

The design I can’t complain about as it tops most of the products that have come out so far and hopefully moving slowly into more products with more on card autographs. I feel the inspiration for the black design came from Hower’s Beard as they make a perfect pair. Now only if Panini can insert a Product Review Used Keith Hower Beard; that would top it off!

Nice looking product as usual guys. I am glad to see that the white leather rookie autos are gone from Timeless Treasures. Those cards left little room for identifying the player and just generally lacked something aesthetically, especially with the penchant for many athletes to have scant, indistinguishable autographs. The rookie glass autos certainly have a nice design, although I think they may have a better effect in person than on video. The base set looks nice for set collectors as well.

As for the beard, it is always fun to go with some friendly mutton chops or any type of semi-ridiculous mustache for a couple days if/when you choose to get rid of it.

  8. January 9, 2013 11:13 am

Timeless looks pretty cool this year. You guys have been on a role with some good looking base cards in the recent sets to come out this season. But i actually have reservations about something for once. While those revolution cards are innovative and are definitely different, but it makes them look like a toy. Don’t get me wrong, I like that Panini is trying different ideas and the only way to see how things will do is by just doing them, but, personally, I just like the simple stuff. Well, simple by today’s standards. As usual, though, nice job Panini. Keep up the good work!

I think the facial hair and I say “the” because it is an entity of its own. The hairliciousness of his beard should be donated to locks of love. Anway I like the revolution materials memorabilia cards witch are totally rad my friend and the product all together because I have always liked timeless treasures but this year I would have to say in the immortal words of Poe skadooush. The glass rookie auto rc is clear, clean and crisp like mountain dew after a summers rain I love’em. I wouldn’t change a thing again why fix something that ain’t broken. Preciate it. Later.

  10. January 9, 2013 11:16 am

Like: The glass rookies see-thru autos are different. Don’t know if you used holographic sticker on those or not, might be better to go with clear sticker.

Like: base cards look sharp, alothough I’d be concerned about dinged corners with the black color.

Like: Revolution mem cards. I’d love to see ones with the same player different team jerseys. Like Shaq Magic/Lakers,etc. I’ve already posted on the NFL/USFL possibilities of some of the NFL greats as well.

    Like: on card autographs.

Dislike: At least at first impression, the sideways autos. Seems a bit odd. Might grow on me though. Just initial thoughts.

Overall, I’d have to say I like a lot of what’s in this product.

Thanks for another great unwrapped preview and CONTEST!!

Happy New Collecting Year 2013 Everyone!!

Being from Sacramento, I would DIE for that Tyreke!!! Lol. Now about the questions, I wouldn’t change a THING about those cards! Beautiful, and the dual jerseys….wow! You guys nail it time after time. Well done!

They’re some really good looking cards, and you’ve been smart with the sticker autographs – placing them vertically is interesting, and works really well with the height of basketball photography, and the glass rookies is another clever way to use the stickers. But the die-cut trios are my favorite – that seems like something you could do as an insert for lower end products, too, and make set collectors go crazy. There’s a lot to like!

I’m looking at the checklist and it looks impressive, lots of different subsets and variations. The cards themselves look promising, particularly the base cards, Timeless Ink, and the die-cut inserts. The rookie autos I thought were ok being it a sticker on a light piece of glass in contrast to the black background. For a brand like this, I don’t think the main draw should be the rookie class; isn’t that what Contenders, R&S, and Prestige are for? I’ve found this to be the case in most of this years’ releases as well. Anyways, the product does look promising and I’ll be looking forward to busting a few.

I think the cards look great. I like the the glass rookie cards. Great looking and just awesome to look at. With the memorabilia cards I like the design but I still like side by side jersey cards. The spinning piece also looks like it might pop off after a few spins. Also i like veteran stars. Magic, Bird, Chamberlin maybe some vintage jersey cards or auto. I mean it is called timeless treasures. I know you guys don’t have a contract with Michael Jordan but man, I bet you guys would make some great cards of him. All in all great cards. And as for Keith’s Beard. Tell him to grow it out till next Christmas then he can play Panini Claus. Haha

Happy 2013 my fellow collectors and also to the great staff of Panini America!
Yay! Definitely excited about the Timeless Treasures! Tracy is Keith the Father of Time?
Ala James Harden! Keith you actually pulled it off. Salute on that!
Anyway, what I like about the Timeless Treasures is that FREE Kobe Anthology pack as an added bonus. A great tribute on a sure Hall of Famer, considered an Icon of his generation,a living Legend. I also like the sweet touch of the die cut cards, perfectly molded shape. Another one would be the newly inclusion of the revolution jersey. Great idea by the design team for coming up on that dual revolution jersey, this goes to saying that team Panini has revolutionize the card industry with their innovative ideas.
The redesigned and very creative Glass rookie card looks classy to me.
The thing I would done differently is to add a prime patch. It looks nice to look at it and if it will be numbered to 10 instead of 25. It would be more appealing to all collectors knowing that its that special and that more valuable to pursue and the fun of chasing it for our collection.
I would like to add that the tin cans alone is considered a collectible. So in near future it would be nice to include an autograph inside the back of the players tin cans a hand numbered. That would even make collectors pursue the hobby of Timeless Treasures more so knowing there is a chance for getting the tin cans signed inside.
    Thanks for the unwrapped video!
    Peace!
    Salute!

First, thank you for stating the Revolution Memorabilia are only jersey, and addressing the disgusting practice of patch/jersey swapping. I think the card companies do not do enough to address this issue. Just my opinion, but I think the value of memorabilia cards is diving because of all the rookie premier swatches out there. A game used piece by a legend is being held in the same regard as a piece worn for a very short time during a photo shoot by a rookie. It used to be a real treat to pull a memorabilia card and wonder how many TD’s a QB threw or a RB scored while wearing that jersey. A lot of times, the back of the card would even state the exact game the piece came from.

As for this product, I like how there is a separate set for All Star memorabilia cards. It always rubs me the wrong way to pull a memorabilia card with an All Star Game piece that is red, and the player is pictured in his team’s attire with no red anywhere to be found (hopefully that is not true for this product).

I think the legends are lacking in this years Timeless Treasures and it is too rookie heavy. Pulling an auto of one of the all-time greats was always the major draw. The Treasured Ink set is awesome, but could have been greatly expanded and combined with the Timeless Signatures.

The cards look great. The Glass Rookies look cool, but I think all autos on clear cards should be in black so that it sticks out and doesn’t take certain light or card angle to see it. The autograph should always be the focal point and show clearly on a card.

I love the revolution memorabilia card (doesn’t hurt its a NY Knick) however I liked the white leather signed rookie cards. The Glass ones are okay and look good, but I prefer the other ones.

The Revolution cards are pretty cool, and I applaud Panini for the creativity. The black-base design is nice, too. If the Glass autos were in trapped glass sans sticker, it would be perfect, but I realize the logistics involved. Looks like a solid number of on-card autos per tin. Perhaps all of the players signing autos should watch the Deion Sanders video from last year before they sign.

As far as mem, people are nuts for beards right now…Harden, Keisel, etc… Since players probably won’t let their beards go easily, you could make a card where you could drag the magnetic shavings around to create hair on some of those guys. How fun would it be to see how large you can make Anthony Davis’s brow? You’d probably have a blast naming that insert too (“The Hair Up There”).

Another idea…if you could apply a cracked ice look to a piece of glass that resembled a backboard, then had the best dunkers in NBA history “shattering” the glass, that would make a pretty cool Timeless insert (first 50 should be auto’d). Honestly, I just miss good, creative dunk inserts featuring Kemp, Wilkins, etc…

I’m not sure case breakers are going to love the ROI from this product, but that’s not your problem. If you want more secondary market activity, offer a bounty program for set builders or a mystery redemption program. As you saw with the mystery rookie redemption autograph program, all cards held value extremely well until the names were announced.

  25. January 9, 2013 12:26 pm

I am excited about every single aspect of this product. The on card autos being my favorite followed closely by the revolving jersey mem cards. The die cut three piece set cards would look cool signed and displayed (idea for next year maybe) and the base cards are designed flawlessly. I would love to crack a box of this and hopefully will someday soon.

Base cards look sharp and validating marks autos look good (props for on-card!). I’d like to see the glas autos in-person before making a call, but they look decent.

Sorry, but I’m not a fan of the revolution cards. As a collector I’m looking for interesting memoribilia, but to me this is the same as any dual jersey card. Adding a twist liking putting a picture of the two players playing with or against each other in a notable game (with match-up stats on the back) would be more interesting for me (maybe with those jerseys on the card!).

I like those team die-cut cards. Reminds me of the Elite Prime Number hockey set.

The change from the leather to the glass autographs is huge, definitely like the glass autographs a lot more.

What i’d like to see, out of a $100 MSRP, probably 4 major hits. 3 Auto/1 Mem or 2+2 combo. Give the collector the bigger bang for their buck. Adding an extra 2 base cards just doesn’t WOW me.

Never the less, thanks for the Unwrapped break as always! Chandler Parsons is a beast, you did well with the 3 Autos in your tin, Tracy. Getting a bonus revolution (4 hits) just would have made it WOW.

I am glad the video came out on this because I like they way they look much more than when I first saw the pictures. They really look sharp with the color schemes on the light which makes for a nice looking card. As always it is great to see on card autos considering how difficult it can be to get those together and out on time.

The glass rookie cards look great and I cant wait to get a Thomas Robinson. I really liked the leather versions that had previously been done but change can be good. I think I still need to get a revolution in my hands to really decide how I feel about them, but the idea is interesting and I am interested in where it will lead. It is much better than previous attempts from other companies that would have one on each side of the card.

first and foremost, i think the beard should be grown out again till its comparable to the ZZ TOP look it once was! then if need be, shave it for charity or something! now on to timeless, im not a die hard nba fan like most but i do enjoy it and would like to venture a little more than i currently do into this realm of collecting as well. i love the revolution materials, good to know they are all basic jersey, have a feeling if it wasnt said here, there may be tampering, so all collectors have been told there should be no crazy patches in em which is very helpful. maybe if this design/technology continues, would there be a way to enclose the jersey pieces, in like a plastic clear caseing, to allow for multi color swatches? maybe a one time seal case so if broken by someone to tamper, there is essentially no way to put back together? just a thought, i think multi color swatches on those cards would drive collectors to chase ema lil more and help out on the secondary market. i actually really like the glass auto idea as well! very sharp! only thing that i would say about those is, if they were on card and not the sticker, they would be crazy collected!! not that they wont now, but you know how we all enjoy our hard signed/on card autos and think this would just blast the product straight to the top!!! well theres my short story novel, hope you guys have a great day and happy start to 2013! i think i may have to try a tin or 2 of these just to get some of these cool aspects of this product! appreciate the unwrapped preview!! take care all!

The look of the cards are very nice, just the overall presentation of the product is nice. The glass rookie autos seem quite nice, although them being a sticker seems to defeat the purpose a bit. I also like to see all cards numbered, or at least guaranteed numbered regular base as well as the hits, especially in a one pack product, so I’d like to see that next time around, also, I feel like the price point for this item should be around the 60-70 or so dollar mark.

Those Die cuts looks stunning and I believe it interlocks to form a bigger picture, and wow that is what i call creativity. Now that is a set I will definitely pursue on.
I would like that the base would be numbered and that jersey cards would have limited numbers on them. It would be nice to see limited game used because as Time passes by it gets diluted. Hopefully the patches would be back and with an even low number.
Thanks Tracy and Panini for bringing back the excitement and sharing the treasures in a Timely manner. Thanks also for the cool contest on giving back to the collectors world.

In addition (also saw a few people mention this too), but I like the idea of plain jersey pieces being included instead of prime pieces. I don’t usually pay the premium prices attached to many so caled “insane” patches because I now have to worry about their authenticity. I have many cards in my collection that have one color patches or something that is similar and I have no problem with them because at least I know they weren’t swapped out. DEFINITELY KEEP THE BEARD! I didn’t shave for 3 years and wound up looking like V for Vendetta so I have some serious facial hair envy Keith, carry the torch for all those whose follicles are lacking!

Digging the base card design more than anything else to be honest, bold and clean look for sure. The Revolution memorabilia cards are stellar, I’d like to see those in other sports for sure but I would prefer them to be home/away of the same player versus 2 different players (especially on different teams). Those tend to not maintain their value as much as single player cards or even cards with 2 players on the same team. Good ratio of on-card to sticker autos, that’s something I look for in almost every product. The glass rookies are nice as well.

    Thanks as always Tracy!

Once there was a time were it was ok to be scruffy and we spent countless hrs watching sports and sorting through our collections! We need to once again get a little rough around the edges and lock ourselves back into our man caves and get back to what we do best and thats being men, Lol!!!! Anyways I wanna say that i think Timelss treasures is the perfect way to start off the year! I love it when Panini uses black in the back grounds of the cards! I also agree that it was best doing away with the leather autoss this year but i gotta say that u stepped it up with the Glass Rookie autos! I also like that you did something diff with the jersey cards! One thing that i would like to see is more Prime, i mean i could never get enough of pulling a really thick Patch card with an auto!

Wow, thats all i can say about the beard..

In regards to the cards, I am honestly not a big basketball collector but the design caught me thinking to myself I may strongly consider picking up a box to try it out. Design is what panini is all about: clean, simple but yet bold. The glass rookies are really interesting and I really enjoy the simple clean unobstructed signing space. For me I do have a collection of Karl Malone cards as well as Raptors (from Toronto) so I was quite happy with the inclusion of both. And i always love collecting, autos, patches and hall of famer cards.

For me the only negative is the size of the base set. I like to keep my sets to around 100 especially if they are not numbered, to keep the value up on the commons (even the rookies) as part of the set and make them more desirable.

Just want to thank you guys again for the potential give away, as also for grabbing my attention to purchase a basketball product first time for a full box in years.

First things first. I think Tracy should shave his facial foliage. Keith, do as you please.

    Re: the new TT.

I do like the design of the new RC autos over the past versions with the “leather” although the oversized sticker are not ideal. On the plus side, with an oversized sticker, the players’ autos will be less likely to “run out of bounds”.

I also like the trio cards where you can assemble the 3 players into a “display”.

I like the different players on the tins…. makes them somewhat collectible as opposed to just a card-disbursement container that will end up in the recycler or landfill. Are there more than 4 players represented?

I am not a fan of the spinning jerseys. It has the feel of a gimmick that serves little or no purpose. If you look at the Limited version with the Home and Away on either side, it makes little sense to spin the swatch so you can see the Home jersey swatch with the Away jersey photograph and visa versa. With this product (TT) and the dual players, it seems intuitive to make the swatches spin on a vertical axis rather than a horizontal one…after all players are located side-by-side. And that’s only if you’re going to have a spinner anyway. It also seems like having a card with “moving parts” is just asking for trouble. What next? Tiddly winks-like parts to shoot a ball into a fold-upright basket? It also feels like there is opportunity to get the jersey pieces confused, depending on who is paired with whom and which jerseys are used for the cards. I applaud the effort to introduce something different into the hobby but don’t much care for this presentation.

The base cards look sharp but I’m always skeptical of cards with black edges and the chipping factor. In the video, it looked like some of the pack-fresh cards had some chipping going on.

Those on-card autos of Evans and Ebanks look great.

That’s my (shave and a haircut) two bits.

  61. January 9, 2013 7:46 pm

Great looking product, love the rookie auto’s and will be busting some of this when it makes it to Australia, as for the beard if it’s giving you grief, get rid of it, it is what you want not what everyone thinks you should do

  62. January 9, 2013 7:55 pm

So sitting here watching a few videos tonight and Keith – WOW.. My wife says you look sexy?? What is up with that – honest? And Tracy is there any chance you could wear a Bears T-Shirt? Maybe we could come up with some bet to see if your would have to wear a diffent shirt for the videos – ha.

That glass auto is super and would love to see you all do that with your NFL product. It is without question the best autograph idea I have seen. The flip jersey is also a great idea and would love to see a Bears “Ulacher” up against a Packers “Rodgers”…

Like a few of the people above the sideways auto is a bit questionable. But if it is your favorite player then I am not sure I would mind.

One thing is for sure – I hope I win the lottery as I am now a huge fan of Panini and would love to have more of it here at the house with the boys

    Thanks.

The base cards have a kind of classic look to them and of course the glass rookie autos are sweet. I really like the detail put into the other inserts though. The revolution cards are still blowing my mind and the puzzle card idea is really cool. SHAVE you look like a caveman

I like tin products as they make a great bottom shelf display, and you can leave the cards in the original box (once they are “sleeved” and “loaded”). Love the on card auto for this set.

I really like the fact that the jersey cards rotate, i think that it’s ingenious of you guys to implement that in timeless treasures and as you guys said, it lessen the temptation to tamper the game used card since it will easily be seen from four corners if it is actually have been tampered.

i like the design of the base cards, very classy. I also like the idea of the glass rookies but i think it would be better if they were on card and one some sort of clearer material, like the limited acetate rookies, that way the player will still have the ability to sign with a big autograph and truly stands up to the name. As for the other cards, I really like that die cut Marc Gasol card, I think the full set will be very collectible for team collectors, I am curious if theres any parallel levels to that set because i think that can add even more fun to the chase, perhaps for next season. Finally for the autographs, I really think the checklist can improved. This is not a cheap product, it is one of the higher end products and I personally wouldn’t be too thrilled at pulling a Devin Ebanks Auto, and I collect Lakers. I think a higher end product can call for higher end player autographs.

If you look at the reality of this product, the tin advertises 5 cards for a price of roughly $100….or $20 per card….so it has the feel of a “higher end” product, especially when you know you’ll be getting a couple of base cards among those 5 cards. In the previous post, it was mention you tend to get a couple more base cards per tin, thus bumping the total to 7 cards/tin. The hits, however, are 2 autos and 1 GU per $100. The difference is just the base cards and inserts.

Higher end products, to me, are more like Perferred, National Treasures & Gold Standard. If you look at something like Preferred, you’re getting 4 cards for $200 or $50 per card. That’s “higher end” Then you should really feel bad about an Ebanks auto as one of your hits.

Here are what I like and dislike from the first pics and the video. Thanks for this opportunity to tell my pros and cons.

    Pros
    – From the pictures provided, the highlight of the collection is surely autographs. They are large, on card, well emphasized by the design of the cards. This is the case for “validating marks”, “rookie auto”, “timeless talent”, “treasure ink.” Special mention to “Treasure Ink” card of Tony Parker shown in the previous post.
    – The design of the All Star Materials and especially Prime is fantastic. These are for me the most beautiful cards of this collection.
    – The checklist is solid including “time to shine” that summarizes recent drafts hopes. Good point.
    – Hower’s facial hair :)!

    Cons
    – Too few cards per box. I’d like to have more cards as the gold standard with 2 or 3 inserts before the hits. So I think we go directly to the hits without paying attention to the commons, which are very nice.
    – Too few different hits per box. It seems that you can often have two glass rookies into the three hits. Even if these glass rookies look nice, the hits of the previous editions of TT were more diverse in my opinion.
    – Not enough jumbo jersey and patch. This observation goes against what most collectors demand, namely autographs, but it is my wish!
    – Concerning the Revolution Materials memorabilia cards, congrats for creativity and technical research but to me it looks more like a gadget! Look how people can play with the card. Then I think it looks more like a toy than a collector card. I congratulated recent Panini’s technological improvements but this one is not for me the most accomplished.
    – Finally, I find cheklist is too long with 150 commons. A checklist reduced to 100 players is more relevant with only 3 commons in each box.

    Thanks for the unwrapped video.
    Happy new beard year.

Very good release, the Glass RC auto are excellent, the oversize label gives more room for the auto itself, maybe it can be done in different colours. About the Revolution, I agree that to keep the same player on the card is more collectable. What about a Revolution with Auto/Jersey swatch ? One side the Jersey, the other with the Auto. How I envy Keith, I haven’t enough follicles for a beard like yours. Great job as always.

Love the beard Keith – start backyard brawling and you’ll give Kimbo Slice a run for his money

Acetate rookie autos are designed nicely, an improvement over the swatches from previous year. A revolution with jersey on one side and prime on another would be good to see.

The glass cards are sweet. I’m hit or miss on basketball products usually but I may end up picking up some of these. The checklist is a bit long & the value may not be there b/c basketball is so top heavy with stars though. I don’t know if that number of cards will be worth the cost.

Always enjoyed timeless treasures, so here are my two cents:

    Pros:
Base Cards – are very clean, reminds me of the Gold Standard Metal Rookie cards, which are my favorite design.
Proper Use of Rookie Sticker Autos – No one is a fan of stickers but we all know it has to be done sometimes. The “Clear Glass” makes the sticker less visable which is really a clever idea on Panini’s part.
SHAQ AUTOS! – Finally!! I remember seeing a blog about him sending in a bunch of his sticker auto’s. We finally get to see them in production!

    Improvements:
Logomans & Laundry Tags – In 09-10 & 10-11 had the Chamiponship Matierals / Rookie Year set. I really enjoyed that set. It was a nice “Chase” to the product.
All-Star Materials: Nice idea, but it reminds me of the All-Star insert from Hoops. Although the design is much improved.
Revolution Materials – I do commend the product team for trying new things, but personally I enjoyed have the back-to-front card (Similar to the back to the futures or back 2 back sets).

    Keep up the good work!

Tracy rethink about the auto tins. It will be a great addition to collectors and for Panini as well. Win win!

I was definetly wrong from my sneak peak comment on Timeless Tresures. This is one of the best basketball brands I have ever seen. The glass rookie autos are fantastic-you can actually see throught them! My favorite is the Revolutionary Materials with two swatches of two people on one card-simply amazing! What I am worried about though is the base rookie autos. I would not want to buy a tin and pull some $5 rookie autos. I think the risk is a good one though with the glass autos and memorablia. Thanks again for this generous giveaway Panini- A grreat way to start the new year:)

By far my favorite cards out of this product have to be the unique shaped ones. I really enjoy products where you guys have different styled cuts. It makes for a fun pull & is a very nice switch up! I still really want to pull one of those dual spin jersey cards they look awesome! I am a little disappointed there won’t be any patches of them 😦 There has to be some way to make it where the crooks can’t win! haha.

What a great way to start the year! First of all, I would like to thank Tracy and Team Panini for having another great contest. This year for Timeless Treasures is very unique! Two thumbs up for the Revolution Materials memorabilia cards just like in 2012-13 Panini Limited having the game used jersey of both players back to back, spinning like its sick! Very unique design that will leave a mark to Panini. I really like the newly designed Glass Rookie Autograph than the previous leather piece used before because the autograph is much more bigger, clearer and does not fade. What i like most in this product is the Puzzle Die-Cut Insert where you must get the three players of each team in order to complete the puzzle. In my life, this is the first time that I have seen Die-Cut cards that can be puzzled together and it really really really impressed me so much. What i would like to see done differently is that base cards to be numbered just like the previous Timeless Treasures. I am also hoping that the Die-Cut cards to be composed of the Starting Five of each team or maybe in the next Timeless Treasures next year, there would be puzzled Die-Cut inserts of the Legends of each team. Another suggestion is that Panini should start making cards with game used floors with the autograph of the legends and the product is Timeless Treasures because it really fits to the words “Timeless” and “Treasure”.

Keith must definitely TREASURE that TIMELESS beard! It really fits in this Panini Unwrapped episode of Timeless Treasures! Thanks again Tracy and Keith for the contest! God Bless Team Panini!

I really liked the Treasured Ink autographs and the the way the overall design of the base cards. The black background really works with these cards and the photos. I really like these cards. They are the simple yet amazing. Dark backgrounds with the players being the focal point. The glass rookies look great as well. Really make the auto pop and would likely hold their auto for a longer time than some other materials. Those revolution cards are RIDICULOUS. They are by far some of the most unique cards and seem like a great way to attract kids to collect them too. I do worry about how they would hold up though if they spin too much, such as tearing the sides or nicking them up. But other than that all of the cards look fantastic. Wouldn’t mind opening up some myself.
