Top Picks Sport NFL Duds for First Time in Panini America’s 2013 Score Hot Rookies
When Panini America releases 2013 Score Football later this month to officially kick off the new NFL collecting season, the landmark brand that ignited the football trading card market back in 1989 will look to replicate the feat for a 2013 rookie crop that is brimming with potential and star power. And nowhere will that push be more evident than in Score’s 50-card Hot Rookies insert.
In the days since the conclusion of last week’s 2013 NFL Draft, Panini America’s standout team of graphic designers has been working seemingly around the clock in an effort to get the top 50 picks suitably placed into their new NFL uniforms for Hot Rookies. And as you’ll see in the following gallery, the CGI wizardry works wonders for the set’s impact.
It’s one thing to know that, say, EJ Manuel, Manti Te’o or Tyrann Mathieu were selected by the Bills, Chargers and Cardinals, respectively; it’s something else way more profound to actually see those players in those uniforms for the first time.

Until they have assigned jersey numbers from their respective teams, we have to use “00.”
Many of these guys have assigned jersey numbers already, Ertz and Barkley have numbers already for sure

So your really going to leave out a lot of the top picks again just to put in offensive players even if they were drafted in the later rounds? Like last yrs. crop how many of those players never touched an NFL field during a game. Or hardly ever. I don’t care to have All those players u guys put in there just because they were QBs, RBs, WRs. Like Pead, Sanu, LaMichael James. I mean James was in everything and alot of him. And they drafted the heir apparent this yr. I personally love defensive players on the field. Should be more of them available. Thanks.

Tracy, are all of these players (50) invited to the rookie photo shoot this year or will be more like 34-36 players like previous years? Also really like the orange backgrounds on these cads they look awesome.
The Hot Rookies checklist is not necessarily the invite list for the 2013 NFLPA Rookie Premiere. But I can tell you that there will be more players than usual in attendance this year.
Is that because of so many good players going in the later rounds?
