Paternal Pigskin: Panini America Previews 2013 Father’s Day Football Content
As the calendar rapidly ventures toward the month of June, there are any number of collecting developments taking place on the various fields of play that we so adore. The NBA Playoffs and NHL Playoffs are reaching their dramatic final stages, the buzz is still intact from the recently completed 2013 NFLPA Rookie Premiere and the baseball season is steadily nearing its midway point.
All of these things, of course, have kept things scorching in hobby shops across the country, which is precisely where Panini America’s upcoming 2013 Father’s Day promotion will have its biggest impact. In the last few weeks we’ve been revealing different compelling components of this promotion; that process continues today as we provide a sneak peek at the NFL content planned for the set.
Just like the baseball preview that we provided last week, the NFL portion of the 2013 Father’s Day set will include a vibrant selection of base cards, RCs (of players in their NFL uniforms), Team Pinnacle double-sided gems and the popular Studio insert. Are there gonna be auto’d parallel’s to the panini gold cards?
Yes sir, there will be auto’s & parallels hidden in there!
I just hope there are spacers in each pack to avoid the cherry-picking of the thicker (memorabilia) card packs.
