Panini America Keeps Packing a Pink Punch with New BCA Cards in 2013 Black Friday

November 22, 2013

Panini America 2013 Black Friday BCA (21)

The NFL’s “A Crucial Catch” campaign to support the fight against breast cancer takes center stage for the league every October when pink — and all that the color represents — becomes a predominant on-field hue for the entire league. But the need for breast cancer awareness continues every other month of the year, too. That’s why Panini America officials have once donated a significant portion of its 2013 Black Friday checklist to a whole new series of powerfully pink BCA memorabilia cards.

Once again this season, the company’s 2013 Black Friday set will feature pieces of footballs used in the NFL’s BCA games, including cards devoted to Titans running back Chris Johnson, Rams quarterback Sam Bradford and the first-ever memorabilia card for Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein. In addition, the company had several of the top rookies who attended the 2013 NFLPA Rookie Premiere don (hats and wristbands) and use (footballs and towels) several pink items to create a series of fun and poignant new additions to the living BCA set.

The company also has included several new pink-patch autographs to this year’s set. You can catch a glimpse at many of these compelling cards in the gallery that follows. Also, we’ve updated the list of participating Black Friday dealers with several new additions. And just for reference purposes, below are the links to all of our Black Friday coverage so you’re properly prepared for next week’s big event.

Im curious to as why you don’t see as many of the more historically franchise teams in a lot of veteran memorabilia and auto cards. Im a Bears fan and you rarely see any memorabilia stuff except for about 2 products a year. What about Kyle Long? the best rookie offensive lineman. He should have something out there!

Love the Breast Cancer Awareness Cards. My only issue is with the Panini logo on the front. No offense, but the Panini logo clashes with some really nice looking cards. Maybe you guys can go with a Panini black and white logo for special edition cards. Just an idea. Otherwise great cards.

Totally agree regarding the Panini logo. I’ve had this thought before: Its childish colors make it best for card backs.

Nice gallery of select mem cards, I’m always in favor of knowing where a specific piece of jersey or ball came from. Thanks Tracy!
