The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2013-14 Totally Certified Hockey (114 Pics)
Not to belabor the point here, but if you’re not following the Panini America Twitter account, you missed out on another golden sneak-peek opportunity yesterday, this time during the packout process for 2013-14 Totally Certified Hockey. Panini America NHL Brand Manager Chris Barr took command of the company Twitter handle for most of Wednesday morning, and then took followers right to the front of the production line to see what he saw.
What he saw was the history-making first glimpses of the inaugural Totally Certified Hockey release, which delivers a distinctly Totally Certified feel while also introducing several juicy new tweaks to the brand. The product’s trademark microetching is on mesmerizing display, but the addition of rainbow holographic foil to some of the rarer cards makes for a truly spectacular new creation. The Clear Cloth acetate-meets-memorabilia creation is also a stunning new addition.
Of course, then there’s the bold reintroduction of Epix, Panini America’s first NHL Slide Show cards and so much more. You can check it all out in the Quality Control Gallery that follows. But before we get to that, here’s a quick rundown of just some of the Tweets Barr fired off during packout yesterday:
One more EPIX sampling while we wait for the last boxes. How about @ovi8 this time? pic.twitter.com/AcNJTvFroV
