Panini America Will Have Attendees Seeing Green During 2014 Industry Summit

March 11, 2014

Panini America 2014 Industry Summit Select Football Green Prizms (44)

Next week during the 2014 Industry Summit in Las Vegas, Panini America officials have vowed to go green — both with some rare inclusions inside the company’s legendary Black Boxes and with a special St. Patrick’s Day promotion that will award five of those Black Boxes to lucky attendees just for wearing a cool T-shirt.

The 2014 Industry Summit begins in earnest next Monday, which also happens to be St. Patrick’s Day. To celebrate the occasion, Panini America officials have produced special shamrock-green editions of the company’s popular Rated Rookie T-shirt. Those shirts will be inserted into the Industry Summit welcome bags distributed to all attendees upon check-in on Sunday. On Monday, Panini America officials will award five Black Boxes at random attendees wearing their St. Patrick’s Day Rated Rookie shirts.

One day later, at the conclusion of the company’s annual Tuesday address, Panini America officials will once again distribute their show-stealing Industry Summit Black Boxes. This year, in addition to including an extremely limited autograph or memorabilia card in those Black Boxes, the company has created an Industry Summit-exclusive 2013 Select Football Green Prizm parallel set. Limited to just 15 copies of each card, the set pays tribute to the NFL’s greatest current stars, hottest 2013 rookies and all-time greats.

You can get a glimpse of the stunning green Prizms in the gallery that follows. We’ve also provided a sneak peek of the must-have St. Patrick’s Day Rated Rookie T-shirt. Enjoy the early look and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of Panini America’s plans for the 2014 Industry Summit.

It’s not easy being green. One of these days I will make it to an Industry Summit to see what it is all about.

Wow! I have heard about the black boxes and seen cards from them…really cool. Is there any way to get a black box from Panini directly without going to the summit? I would love to have one and unfortunately will not be attending.

Will there be some hockey at the 2014 Industry Summit? And black boxes? Sound like they should be green 🙂

Had been planning to attend the Summit this year, maybe next year… Have fun Tracy. I know last year was great and Panini America’s Corporate Address was well done and received. I liked that everyone that presented, stayed after the address and was willing to take questions from the attendees.

I am interested in hearing about a few things from the Summit…

Have fun, and what happens in Vegas, gets broadcast via live breaks… See you on those breaks!

I always miss out on these cool cards because these shows are always too far away. Going to be some sick stuff people will be getting.

Wish I could go to one of these, I worked at a card store for years but never got an invite before it closed in 09. Thanks for the preview Tracy!

Now a days anybody can go to one of these events. So many Razzers on are going and group breakers. I bet there are more group breakers there then actual store owners. If not, then in a few years there will be. One thing i don’t like about this event, is that store owners/Group Breakers and Razzers get the black boxes and sell them on ebay or whatever when it should be given to the people that support them all year long. I know they deserve a reward people are gonna say. Well, I think the thousands they make on their breaks and razzes a year is a pretty good reward. Not hating… It’s just a downside on the industry and why I’ve walked away from all deals threw the internet.

Appreciate the feedback, Jonathan. You’ll be happy to know that many dealers do reserve their Black Boxes for their top customers back home.
