Teaser Gallery: Panini America Opens Three Briefcases of 2013-14 Flawless Basketball

September 29, 2014

Panini America 2013-14 Flawless Basketball Teaser (7)

It’s here. At long last, 2013-14 Flawless Basketball release week has arrived — and it’s brought palpable senses of enthusiasm and excitement with it. The highly anticipated final release of Panini America’s 2013-14 NBA collecting season arrives this year in sleek, black-metal briefcases, each bearing 10 stunning cards. Late last week, as the final Flawless briefcases were being hand-packed, wrapped and put in cases for delivery, I grabbed three at random before they were sealed to provide this special Teaser Gallery.

As you’ll see in the gallery below, the highest-end release in basketball card history is a goose-bump-inducing thrill ride to open, full of collection-making autograph and memorabilia cards honoring the greatest players — past, present and future — in NBA history. 2013-14 Flawless Basketball goes live in hobby shops across North America on Wednesday. Until then, though, this three-briefcase unveiling is as close as you’re going to get.

While it doesn’t reveal everything the product has to offer, it does provide a nice preview of what collectors can expect. Enjoy — and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage.

great cards. But even after the release , this is still as close as i am going to get. Wish i could afford a briefcase but it’s just a little out of my price range. Awesome product for the higher end collectors though.

Amazing as I knew it would be! I pre-ordered a box/briefcase for me & my daughters to open and I can’t wait to open it! I’m hoping for a Durant Patch Auto but there are so many other great cards to pull, I know it will be a fun break! My hands will be shaking, I know that. Keep up the great work Panini!

Those jumbo patch cards are soooo boring. All white no design??? Not worth the price tag.

Awesome set,as expected. REALLY wish you could get Blake Griffin to sign his cards without a streak. He is a spokesperson for Panini, right? Maybe a ballpoint pen is what he needs. ANYTHING would be better than a Flawless set filled again with streaked Blake auto’s

I’ll take the Webber any day!!!
Dibs on that Penny, Lakers and sweet sweet Larry Legend.

Let the Dice roll on those Group breaks!!!
Hopefully next year we get Charles Barkley as well Sir Tracy!

Awesome looking product! I’d take case number 2 but they all have some really nice cards.
Good job Panini, now I’ve got to go see the bank about extending my home loan 🙂

This is a truly monumental release, it has every element you would want in a high end product. Great job on this one, thanks Tracy!

Some gorgeous cards there I must say. That Pat Riley is way sick. Looks like a blast to open, but wife would have me on front lawn with the briefcase of cards and maybe clean underwear stuffed in. One day.

I watched a couple of breaks(okay i watched as much as i could find on youtube), one thing what could/should be improved: make a little deeper wholes (or make them tighter) for the 3 cards what is not in the little box. They are all over most of the time, and not in the place what was designed for them.
Not a big deal, but if you (want to) make the highest end product, than everything little detail should be perfect.
