Inside 2014 National Treasures Baseball: Bat Knobs, Barrels Ready to Make an Impact

December 26, 2014

Panini America 2014 National Treasures Baseball Bat Knobs (3)

Now that Panini America’s highly anticipated 2014 National Treasures Baseball is just four days from release, the time has come for us to ramp up the preview galleries here at The Knight’s Lance. We spent some quality time last Sunday morning over at the Panini America production facility filling our smartphones with as many pre-packout images as our memory would allow. We’ve shown you some of those images in recent days. Today, the preview process continues with a look at some bona fide heavy hitters from the product — a selection of the Bat Knobs and Bat Barrels 1/1 cards featuring current superstars and all-time legends alike.

In the revealing gallery that follows, we showcase just some of the legendary lumber included in these two inserts. The short list of superstar subjects featured in the gallery includes Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig, Derek Jeter, Mike Trout and George Brett to name five. Trust us, there are plenty more. Check them out in the following gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of 2014 National Treasures Baseball.

My wife asked me if Panini will provide us with a mop to clean the drool off of the floor. Gosh, those are amazing.

Those are collection centerpieces, every one of them. I especially like the inclusion of Kirby Puckett in the set, very under-appreciated in the hobby in my opinion. Thanks Tracy!
