At this very moment, Panini America’s international-only 2014-15 Gala Basketball is making its way to foreign destinations across the collecting universe, packing in its diminutive five-card boxes three autographs, one memorabilia card and seemingly countless possibilities. In preparation for this unique international endeavor, we’ve provided quite a bit of Gala preview coverage on The Knight’s Lance in recent weeks.

From the Quality Control Gallery to the memorabilia-card exploration to the incoming autograph arrivals, we’ve done our best to keep you in the loop on everything that’s happening with 2014-15 Gala Basketball. Today, we’re bringing you one step closer with a Teaser Gallery that takes you card by card through five early boxes. I like how every box of the 5 here is really well balanced. Instead of seeing 3 amazing boxes and 2 sub-par boxes or 1 phenomenal box and 4 average boxes, here we see a very balanced effort making sure every customer gets a good experience (especially with the given price tag of the box – the last thing you want to do is leave someone with a sour taste accidentally). Overall, beautiful product and I applaud the Panini team for a really solid effort on this one for the international folks (I’m jealous)!

1 maybe 2 decent cards per pack of 5…
440$ in Nz currency so way to steep for me.
