A Glance Inside Panini America’s Upcoming University of Wisconsin Trading Card Set
Panini America is reuniting some of the greatest athletes in Wisconsin Badgers history for the company’s upcoming 2015 University of Wisconsin trading card set that’s on its way to retailers now. The unique set features a 50-card base set honoring the school’s most decorated athletes, alumni, athletic structures and traditions.
The 50-card base set features Silver, Gold (numbered to 25) and Black (numbered to 10) parallels, as does the Honors insert that pays tribute to the school’s many award-winners. The set also delivers a Signatures autograph insert (featuring Silver versions numbered to 99 or less, Gold versions numbered to 25 or less and Black versions numbered to 10 or less). The Memorabilia insert features pieces of player-worn memorabilia and also is paralleled by Silver and Black versions.
Panini America’s 2015 University of Wisconsin trading card set will be available in both a 24-pack retail box (delivering two autograph or memorabilia cards) and an 80-card blaster box that delivers one autograph or memorabilia card. Where are Ron Dayne, Brian Calhoun, Michael Bennett, Lee Evans, Chris Chambers, Al Toon, Brooks Bollinger, Jim Leonard, Anthony Davis, Don Davey, Erasmus James, Paul Gruber, Jeff Dellenbach, Ken Bowman, Alan Ameche, Travis Beckum, Jamar Fletcher, Troy Vincent, PJ Hill? Lot of big names from Wisconsin not in this set.
Will you be doing sets for the same teams every few years or is this just a one time thing?

He’s a member of the Badgers Hall of Fame class of 2015, tied for the UW career record with 21 interceptions, fourth-most in Big Ten history and was named first-team All-Big Ten in each of his final three seasons.
Any chance you’ll be doing future Badgers sets or a Big 10 set? If he was in a product like that, I’d certainly be buying!
Still a cool looking set, just a shame my PC player isn’t in it.
