It’s fitting, really, that Thanksgiving week this year coincides with another huge Panini America release week. Thanks to tomorrow’s arrival of 2016 Pantheon Baseball and 2016 Playoff Football, and Friday’s arrival of 2016-17 Donruss Basketball, collectors are going to have a lot more to be thankful for — and that’s in addition to the usual madness that surrounds Panini America’s annual Black Friday promotion.

We’ve spent some quality time over the last week or so properly preparing you for the release of this week’s new arrivals and the Black Friday promotion. Today, we’re taking a more granular view of Pantheon Baseball and Playoff Football by ripping into some early boxes of our customary Teaser Gallery previews.

In the revealing gallery that follows, we take you card by card through four early boxes of 2016 Pantheon Baseball, a unique, all-retired, all-hit product featuring some of the greatest legends and most popular players in baseball history. Enjoy the imagery and stay tuned for continued coverage.

at 320 a box, that’s a bit steep. Local Card Shops are taking another bath from Topps because of Dynasty ($500 debut) and The Mint. The mint debut was around $999 a box, now it’s on sale for 450. I’m a big fan of panini, i love immaculate, and just bought a 2016 box via black Friday at blowoutcards for 159. I used to love topps triple threads and chrome, but spending a ton of money for third rate chipped cards and missing hits got old. Panini started to really give Topps some much needed competition about 3 years ago. Stars and stripes, hometown heroes, and now Optic ( i need to save up for a few boxes). My point is, Topps got really lazy since it got the sole MLB license, thinking that would deter collectors from other companies. But Panini stepped up with creative cards and deep autograph checklists. I’ll keep saving up to buy panini products. At the moment i’m writing this, i’m spending my monthly card allowance on 2 random spots on panini pantheon 4 box break from dacardworld. Wish me luck!
