Teaser Gallery: Panini America Opens First Box of 2012-13 Select Basketball
Teasing Tuesday continues here on The Knight’s Lance as we follow our 2012 Playbook Football Teaser Gallery from earlier this morning with another first-box peek, this time showcasing one randomly early box of the highly anticipated 2012-13 Select Basketball product. If 2012-13 Prizm Basketball ignited the fire for Panini America’s wildly popular Prizm technology, the preliminary buzz on Select has continued to feverishly fan the flames.
Select releases to the hobby masses on Thursday, featuring two seven-pack mini boxes per master box. This particular 14-pack box delivered seven Prizm parallels (including one Gold Prizm Autograph and two other Prizm autographs), six additional inserts and, yes, one redemption card.

I’d write more but my sick mother (who is dependent on me in spite of just losing my job) doesn’t understand why I have to stand on the street corner all day asking for spare change to buy a box of cards. But I need her to watch my 12 kids while I’m soliciting funds, even if she needs a new hip. 🙂

I’m really excited about this product think it will have some stellar cards. Probably the most excited I’ve been about any offering so far. Usually I’m kinda bummed when the teaser gallery break hits something good but I’m actually glad it was ya’ll who pulled that gold Parsons. I would have been kinda disappointed to find such a big special hit in one of my boxes that was just a one color jersey and a sticker auto .
I’m calling it right now, Select is going to be the NBA product of the year!! Well at least until National Treasures Basketball comes out! LOL. I already have 4 boxes pre ordered and I’m hoping to get 3 or 4 more boxes next week too! Select looks AMAZING!! Keep up the great work Panini!

nice solid product, the prizm just jums right off of the cards, nice inserts, the flames make it 100X cooler just nice to see all of the hard work panini does to keep the hobby going and making collectors happy, keep up th outstanding work
Panini select basketball is absolutely amazing. Amazing design, beautiful work guys.i can say this is probably one of the top in look and quality just by watching the video. Can’t wait to get a box of this stuff. Once again Panini nailed it. Awesome work once again.
Also to add to my previous comment, this maybe the product of the year for you guys and I hope it is. I just can’t get over how amazing these cards look. Then to add another prizm selection to the product was absolute genius. Wonderful stuff.
