Titanic Tease: Panini America Takes Sunday Sneak Peek at 2013-14 Titanium Basketball

March 2, 2014

Panini America 2013-14 Titanium Basketball QC Teaser (13)

The history-making first installment of Titanium Basketball is now less than one week from release and it’s safe to assume that Panini America officials have taken the perennial hockey staple and equipped it for immediate success on the hard wood. Boasting a wealth of sick patches, Hot Boxes and some of the lowest-numbered Rookie Cards in NBA collecting history, 2013-14 Titanium Basketball looks to pack legitimate Rookie of the Year potential.

We’re offering just some of the reasons why in the special Sunday sneak peek that follows. Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance tomorrow for even more pics in a comprehensive Quality Control Gallery. Until then, though, these images — including many that Panini America Assistant NBA Brand Manager Cory Hollingsworth shot on the production line last week — should hold you over. Enjoy.

I’m a fan. While I’m in no way blown away by the ’14 rookie class, and I do think that Panini is seeing a saturated the market; one that is largely self-saturated.
This product, however, has a really nice mix of autos and mem’. The cards pop and the patches are stunning AND huge. Bravo, I say!
    MSRP, pray tell?

I agree: If the NBA landscape calls for this much product fine, just make the products different! I believe SRP is $90/box and we’ll be breaking a few LIVE in-store.
