Can’t Make It to The National? Then Panini America is Bringing The National to You.

August 5, 2011

ROSEMONT, Ill. — Look, we here at Panini America realize that not everyone can make it to the 32nd Annual National Sports Collectors Convention. We understand that and we sympathize with those loyal collectors who would love to be here but simply can’t be.

So we’re bringing a little bit of The National to you.

When no one was looking earlier today, I snagged a few of our highly coveted silver-foil wrapper-redemption packs that have kept the entire show buzzing since the doors first opened on Wednesday afternoon. And some lucky collectors enjoying this week’s extensive coverage of the show through The Knight’s Lance are going to win them.

All you have to do to be eligible to win a pack or two is simply comment on any of the National photos or videos we’ve posted so far – and will continue to post — this week. That’s it.

When we return to the office next week, we’ll select a fair amount of winning commenters at random and send you some of these show-stopping packs.

To make entering the contest from home as easy as possible, we’ve posted links to our National coverage so far below. We’ll add the most recent links to this list in the coming days. So sit back, enjoy the sights and sounds of the 32nd Annual National Sports Collectors Convention and leave comments to your heart’s content.

We’ll do the rest.

Thanks for reading and good luck.

Thanks for the chance. Wasn’t able to go this year but after seeing how much fun it looks like I’m definately making plans to be there next year no matter when or where.

It’s simply amazing how the card industry continually innovates a simple concept, and even though I could not make it to the convention, I was in awe at all of the sweet products that Panini has put out for collectors of all ages. Great job, and i can’t wait for Dominion Hockey!

Thanks for doing this Panini! I don’t think UD would ever do this which shows why I’ve bought more Panini Hockey cards this year that UD’s.

On a side note, we need odds on the packs. :P I want to know what chance I have of pulling something when I’m busting a pack or two without having to look up on the Internet. ;)

I would’ve loved to go. Collecting is my past time to keep me happy. I just can’t afford to go. Or I would be there for sure. Maybe one day you can come to Jazz Nation.

I have always been impressed with your company and how well you treat your fans/customers. I think it is so cool that you offer some possibilities for even the smaller time collectors that can’t make it to a national show!

    • August 8, 2011 8:31 pm

Thanks, man. The collectors make everything we do possible. The least we can do is give back to those folks who couldn’t make it.

Panini is the best hands down! You guys continue to shock and awe us collectors! The sketch cards look awesome. I would love to get ahold of one of them! That is a great idea you have brought to the stage. Maybe a Kobe or Blake sketch on the way? that would be sweet. I would love to get anything you give away from nationals!!! I have never been to a National Show. I have Brain Cancer and cannot travel long distances without being uncomfortable. I have only one shop in my area. Thank You

This contest is a great idea. I wish I could have gone to the National as I have never been, but with a wedding coming up on September 1st there are no extra funds to make it there haha. Anyway, I hope Im not too late to be entered and thanks for having this contest!

Class act with the contest Tracy. I heard all the other corporate card booths were dead compared to you guys. And I doubt any of them thought to give something to the peeps that couldn’t make it there. Bravo.
