Panini America Insert Inspection: 2011 Gold Standard Bullion Brand Logos Signatures
When the Panini America NFL product development team began creating the brand new 2011 Gold Standard Football release months ago, there were inherent benefits to having a road map to study in 2010-11 Gold Standard Basketball.
But in an effort to tailor the exciting new product to a rabid football audience, the team took some creative liberties that should pay huge dividends when the product releases in early November. One such liberty can be found in the unique Bullion Brand Logos Signatures insert.
In addition to a superstar-laden checklist featuring the likes of Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Charles Woodson and Troy Polamalu, each of the 20 rare cards in the Bullion Brand Logos Signatures insert includes an autograph and a brand logo patch taken directly from one of that player’s game-worn jerseys.
It makes for a truly unique chase and an action-packed card front that incorporates a smallish horizontal photo flanked by memorabilia and signatures — and a compelling golden aura that befits the Gold Standard name. I truly can’t believe how small the photos are. The window is tiny, but the photo inside the tiny window is even smaller. Might need to zoom in on the players a bit. My 2 cents.
I cant wait to see the Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady when they are done! Are they all going to be one of ones or no?
These are going to be amazing. Gold Standard is going to be a highlight of Panini for years if it keeps this up. Basketball was great, football is looking even better.
