Panini America On Location: A Live Gallery from the 2012 NHLPA Rookie Showcase
TORONTO — One week, Panini America is in New York for the 2012 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot. The next, it’s Toronto and the 2012 NHLPA Rookie Showcase. Indeed, there’s no rest for the weary these days as company officials continue tirelessly globetrotting to secure the photography, autographs and memorabilia that will ultimately become the most coveted sports trading cards of the 2012-13 season.
The puck dropped on the 2012 NHLPA Rookie Showcase this morning inside a Panini America player lounge bustling with some of the greatest young hockey talent on the planet. Among the headliners coming through today to sign autographs and take a few pictures: Top 2012 NHL Draft picks Nail Yakupov (No. 1 to the Edmonton Oilers), Ryan Murray (No. 2 to the Columbus Blue Jackets), Griffin Reinhart (No. 4 to the New York Islanders) and Morgan Rielly (No. 5 to the Toronto Maple Leafs).
If you’re not following Panini America on Twitter, you’re missing a ton of activity today as the team on the ground in Toronto has been live Tweeting since the doors opened this morning. You can expect that to continue for the next two days as the on-ice action begins tomorrow.
The following gallery highlights some of today’s action inside the Panini America player lounge. We’ll post updated images here as they become available.
Enjoy — and stay tuned.
I think you guys at Panini have way to much fun to call it work… š
I absolutely love the access you guys give to the collector/fan. It’s great, keep up the good work guys.
BTW, looking at these pages of stickers that these players are signing reminded me of a kid in grammar school who got in trouble and had to write: “I will not….” so many times. Haha.
I really need one of those Rated Rookie T-Shirts…….I am XL Tracy! They are awesome in all sincerity …..oh and cool pics also…lol…
Scott,
Is Jack Campbell there and do you have any images of him signing his Limited Patch Auto?
Thanks,
Travis
