October 19, 2012

Voters on NFL.com have made their choice.  Quarterback Robert Griffin III of the Washington Redskins is the Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Week for games played on October 11-15, the NFL announced today. Griffin III completed 17-of-22 passes for 182 yards and one touchdown and also rushed for 138 yards and two scores to help push the Redskins past the Minnesota Vikings, 38-26.

Griffin III was selected from among five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com. The other Week 6 finalists were safety Mark Barron of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wide receiver Josh Gordon of the Cleveland Browns, quarterback Ryan Tannehill of the Miami Dolphins and quarterback Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks.

I agree completely, The Seahawks beat the Patriots, and they havent done that for like 20 years, Russel Wilson had more yards in that game than RG3, and he made the winning touchdown pass to Sidney Rice, so i think it should have been Russel Wilson, and serously RG3 has gotten it three times and Andrew Luck has gotten it twice, come on Panini, be more original…

We didn’t select the winner. The winners are chosen each week by voters on NFL.com.
