Teaser Gallery: Panini America Breaks Early Box of the New 2012-13 Elite Basketball

February 19, 2013

Panini America 2012-13 Elite Basketball Teaser (1)

At some point during the last five days, while many of us from Panini America were in Houston for 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend, the marketing allotment of 2012-13 Elite Basketball arrived safely and soundly, greeting us like a welcome-home beacon when we arrived back to the office this morning.

Live in hobby stores tomorrow, the long-adored Elite brand returns to the hardwood for the first time since the 2009-2010 season, this time delivering three autographs and one memorabilia card per box in addition to a stable of updated staple inserts that includes Elite Series, Throwback Threads, Aspirations and so much more. The following teaser gallery takes you pack-by-pack through one 20-pack box, just to give you an idea of what to expect beginning tomorrow.

Enjoy.

It looks awesome! I honestly wasn’t planning on getting any more basketball cards this season, as I have just about everybody I need. But I ended up deciding to join in on a break b/c these look really nice. Looking forward to it.

MANUTE!!!! I like the idea of 3 autos and 1 mem card. Mem cards (unless they are colorful or patches or of a really hot rookie) really seem to be a dime a dozen. Perhaps cutting down on them is a good thing.

This looks like it might be one of my favorite releases of the year! I can’t wait to buy a couple boxes and actually hold the cards! Any idea the thickness of the cards? They are thicker than HOOPS right? Loving it Panini!

I really like the base card design and the Rookie Elite cards are very cool but I love the Rookie Inscriptions, I just dig a nice acetate card.
