Was not very impressed with this product last year. 2013 looks like the quality is better. Base cards are certainly sharper looking. Still wish Panini would bring back Plates and Patches. Was huge fan of the encapsulated autos similar to the black boxes given away as promos.

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised on Prominence. The Rookie Class Letters look great as do the Field plates. Nicely done!

I’ve notecied that Panini has been a leader in the industry as far as great card stock is concerned. I’ve read horror stories of competitors card stock being damaged during the production process. 2012 Prominence was an exceptional product. I have a feeling that when 2013 Prominence debuts, it will continue to meet and exceed collectors expectations. The card set that depicts the “Gridiron” which includes an auto has to be the most unique aspect of Prominence. I am anxiously awaiting to break open my own hobby box to see if I can pull another “Gridiron” auto card!
