Inside Flawless: Signed-Patch Masterpieces Dazzle in 2012-13 Flawless Basketball

October 9, 2013

Panini America 2012-13 Flawless Basketball Autograph Mem Main

Two weeks from today, one of the most anticipated basketball releases in trading-card history will finally arrive to anxious collectors. Indeed, although 2012-13 Flawless Basketball has been delayed slightly to allow time for the final remaining on-card autographs to be returned for packout, the wait promises to be well worth it. We’ve shown many of the reasons in a series of riveting galleries over the last week or so.

Today, we provide another one. This time, we offer a compelling examination of the set’s majestic autographed patch cards — an assortment of jaw-dropping dream cards featuring the likes of Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, Kyrie Irving, Larry BirdShaquille O’Neal, Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway and so many more.

We’ll cease with the words on these and simply let the cards speak for themselves. Enjoy the gallery, and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional updates in the coming days.

And just in case you might have missed any of our 2012-13 Flawless Basketball preview galleries so for, you can check them out with a quick click below:

Anyone have a mop? I think I just drooled a small swimming pool looking at these. Great work to the Panini Team.

Are there patches underneath the signatures or do these cards feature two “strips” of patches?

Just by looking at them I would say that they are 2 strips of patches.

Why is the patch seperate? It would be better if they are together.. Better than Limited Logos. First auto patches of Shaq and Malone I think.

So is the big announcement no redemptions? Or will there be logoman 1/1 in this product?

Flawless looks soooooooo good! I usually don’t open boxes. I let my customers pull the good stuff. In the case of Flawless, last box is mine……

These look great but we already saw a preview of these. Time to show real chase cards like logomans.

Tracy – will Immaculate be delayed 10-14 days so that it wont release so quickly after Flawless? That would seem to make sense so the products dont compete with each other so much & each loses some attention. Please let me know! thanks!!

Tracy, we still haven’t see the real “chase” cards like logoman cards yet. Can you please let us know if there will be logoman cards or not?

its funny that some of the Patch Autos will hold less value than a Base w a Diamond or Emerald in it

Those are fantastic, this is going to be a ground breaking set! Thanks Tracy!

Tracy. Are there any more “tricks” up your sleeves, or will we just see more of what’s already been announced? A yes or no answer would do. Thanks.

    • October 14, 2013 3:55 pm

Guess it depends on your definition of “tricks.” We will have some more previews coming in the next few days. Early next week, we’ll bring you the results of two or three briefcases.
