Teaser Gallery: Panini America Opens Early Box of 2013-14 NBA Hoops Basketball
Cue the trumpets, confetti cannons and arena-rocking tunes: The 2013-14 NBA collecting season triumphantly begins tomorrow with the long-awaited release of Panini America’s 2013-14 NBA Basketball. With its 50-card Hobby Jumbo packs and vibrant variety of inserts, aesthetics and photography, this year’s edition of the venerable NBA Hoops brand is dressed to thrill.
This morning, we had the distinct opportunity to rip through one massive, 500-card Jumbo box of 2013-14 NBA Hoops for the following Teaser Gallery, which takes you pack-by-pack through the unique experience that awaits you beginning tomorrow.
Each Hobby Jumbo box of 2013-14 NBA Hoops Basketball delivers two autographs, one memorabilia card and an ensemble of insert cards that’s as stunningly good-looking as it is plentiful. This particular box also yielded one Champions insert and one Artist’s Proof. You can see it all for yourself in the gallery that follows.

Jumbo’s was a great add here! Awesome photography as well!
For me, a case breaker/seller, this is the perfect product. Tons of content means tons of sales. But there’s so much more that is great. 1) The ratio of inserts to base is nearly equal, making building master sets so much easier. This not only makes my sales better, but it’s better for collectors who want to buy cases(s) and build sets themselves. 2) I don’t know if you read my previous request to improve collation, but holy smokes the collation in 2013-14 Hoops is fantastic! The collation seems great in everything: base, inserts, gold’s, redbacks, etc. 3) Seems like the RC’s are a little harder to pull than in previous years releases. I think this is a good thing. 4) Quality control is just amazingly good. Two cases down, not a single card with a dinged corner. 5) The cards are just cool. Tons of variety and great action shots. Just a blast to open. My favorite card is the SP Insert Highlights #2 Miami Heat 27-game win streak. I had forgotten about that until I pulled that card.

I wonder if there will be a Retail Product of this too since i did not see any of the Red & Blue Autographs which were numbered.Could you give us an update on this when these will be released?

The photography on these cards looks amazing! Do you know when boxes will be available in the store on your website? I can’t wait to get some of this stuff shipped over to the UK!
