“Panini Collection” Insert Returns to Inject 2013 Black Friday Packs with Raw Emotion
When collectors finally get the chance next week to begin ripping open Panini America’s 2013 Black Friday packs, they’ll delight at the updated twists on several longstanding promotional drivers such as Tools of the Trade memorabilia cards, player-worn Santa hats, game-used NFL Breast Cancer Awareness football cards and much more. But it’s the striking imagery and dynamic design of the set’s 20 Panini Collection inserts that once again will provide the set’s emotional core.
A Black Friday-exclusive insert since Panini America started the game-changing promotion three years ago, the Panini Collection places a premium on the trademark poses and emotions of some of the sports world’s biggest stars. This year’s iteration — which is paralleled by both Cracked Ice and Lava Flow versions — features the likes of Yasiel Puig, Andrew McCutchen, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Damian Lillard, J.J. Watt, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Jonathan Toews and even DJ Kool, the official DJ of Panini Ameica.

Really guys… Tebow still being featured?!? He has not been on a team for how long now and is still be included in sets?
Tebow’s tops on our list and hope to include him as long as he continues to be heavily collected…
Not as popular as u might think and if he “tops” your list somebody isn’t paying attention
As an avid Tebow fan, I have no issues with including him in any set. He is a lightning rod of a player, no question about it. But one of the reasons he’s such a lightning rod is because he has such a tremendous fan base who love collecting his cards. I didn’t have a say on whether he would be in Black Friday this year, but when Scott told me he would be (and when he told me what image we were using), I was stoked. It’s a poignant image that captures Tebow’s brief — but eventful — time in New England.
No Super Bowl Pylon Pieces, come on those have to be coming back, they are a staple of the set

Definitely liking the mccutchen base card. the color pops nice with his “street clothes” as a huge collector of mccutchen i cant wait for these to be released so i get a chance to snatch one up! great design as always!

Those cards look great fellas! Great pics of greats showing passion and emotion or just plain intimidation. Plus having the players silhouetted on a darker background really pulls out the colors in the uniforms. Nice touch!
