Teaser Gallery: Panini America Breaks Four Early Boxes of 2013-14 Playbook Hockey

April 8, 2014

Panini America 2013-14 Playbook Hockey Tease Box One (12)

By this time tomorrow, hockey collectors across North America will help Panini America pen a new chapter in the hockey-card history books by partaking in the first — and perhaps only — edition of Playbook Hockey. A unique Playbook brand that has resonated with football collectors for several years makes the bold transition to hockey with a library’s worth of booklets, a strong autograph checklist and some of the most memorable hockey cards of the season.

Each three-card box of 2013-14 Playbook Hockey is supposed to deliver one booklet card and one autograph or memorabilia card; but as you’ll see in the four-box Teaser Gallery that follows, some boxes deliver more than that.

Enjoy this final pre-release peek at 2013-14 Playbook Hockey and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage.

Looks like they forgot to serial number the Galchenyuk and just slapped it on as an after thought.

Big fan of the base card design, that double rookie prime from the Sabres is a really nice looking card as well. Thanks Tracy!
