Panini America 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Teaser (2)

After a full month of absolutely intense build-up, release week has arrived. At long last, Panini America’s highly anticipated 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Prizm trading card set arrives in stores this week packing a historic autograph checklist, a bevy of never-before-seen Prizm parallels and perhaps more potential than any other soccer trading card product ever made.

Officially, the product releases on Wednesday here in the United States and you can order it — as well as Panini’s 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Sticker Collection — now at iCollectPanini.com. But as has become custom here on The Knight’s Lance, we’re going to bring you a little sneak peek by busting a few early boxes.

In the gallery that follows, we provide a pack-by-pack thrill ride through two boxes of the product — the first two boxes we could get our hands on this morning. Enjoy the experience, which delivers more Prizm parallels than expected and a stunning assortment of World Cup superstars past and present.

Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance tomorrow for a must-see episode of Panini Unwrapped starring 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Prizm.

You have no idea how excited I am for this. Just completed my 300 card prizm hockey set and only need 6more of the panini Toronto spring expo set then it’s off to build this set! Looking forward to collecting as many Greeks inserts and parallels as I can as well as building the full base set. Great job as always and I absolutely love prizm!

Prizm is great, soccer is great, join the two and you have a match made in heaven. Not to mention the fact that the World Cup is the focus with the past and present stars signing away, this has the potential to be the breakout product of the year.

I read on the blog a comment from Tracey that autos are at least one every two boxes. Odds could be right from the two boxes open. I just have to wonder how many cards were printed? It might be as many or close as in the 90s were always printed.

I really like the Guardians inserts. An action shot highlighted in front of the net really pops out.

..can anyone explain the colors? Like green is numbered from 1-25 but I’m finding different cards with 1/25 (Ochoa, De Rossi, Emenike, Bradley, etc) and other numbers the same. I thought there would be 25 green cards. Are there checklists for the solid colors? Thank you…
