The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2014 Prizm Baseball (117 Must-See Pics)

May 12, 2014

Panini America 2014 Prizm Baseball QC (1)

After months of buildup and bubbling anticipation, 2014 Prizm Baseball is on the verge of releasing. As a result, the product packed out late last week and based on the results of that process, it’s clear that 2014 Prizm Baseball is easily the most colorful edition of the popular brand. It just might be the most collectible, too.

Featuring a bold, new array of vaunted Prizm parallels (including psychedelic-seeming Mojo and Blue Mojo patterns), 2014 Prizm Baseball is equipped to shine on multiple fronts. From the way-cool, hobby-only Jackie Robinson Tribute Prizms to the triumphantly returning Gold Prizms to some unique die-cuts to a slew of current, all-time and future star autograph signers, there’s clearly a lot to like — and most of it is previewed in some form in the Quality Control Gallery that follows.

Each 12-pack hobby box of 2014 Prizm Baseball delivers two autographs and six Prizm parallels. The product releases May 21 and you can bet that we’ll have plenty more to preview right here on The Knight’s Lance between now and then. But for now, sit back and enjoy this extended sneak peek at what’s in store.

How much will a box be? It is a stunning product, but I am unsure if I will be able to afford it or not.

Awesome! With only a half a license this works out great. I see no problem making some hockey products in the future as well. It will be hard to get legitt autos from active players though.

Man, ya’ll are getting better and better on this product from the first time it came out. Cards looked good but not all that Topps Chrome was. Now it looks look a little more even matched. Ya’ll stepped it up a notch putting the work on this product more color die cuts etc. Can’t wait for it to hit the hobby shops!!

Love it! I love building the Prizm set. Any word on what the size of the base set will be?

If you guys could commit to doing away with sticker autos you would steal even more business from Topps. Sticker autos kill a beautiful product no matter how big the star is. Good looking product though! Kudos!
