Teaser Gallery: Panini America Cracks Early Boxes of 2013-14 Signatures Basketball

May 28, 2014

Panini America 2013-14 Signatures Basketball Teaser (1)

The highly anticipated encore to one of the last season’s most promising debut products — Panini America’s 2012-13 Signatures Basketball — arrives today in hobby shops across North America. And 2013-14 Signatures Basketball picks up right where that inaugural edition left off, equipped to impress with a vast new array of low-numbered, player-collector Chase Cards, the sublime Film Slide Autographs, the debut of unsigned Film Slide cards and a bonus 2014 NBA Draft X-Change card in every two-pack box.

In an effort to properly prime the pump for Signatures Release Day, we provide a quick three-box Teaser Gallery that takes you card by card through the six-pack experience. Although we did encounter one redemption card in our randomly selected boxes, it’s worth noting that the autograph for the redemption card in question — a Kobe Bryant Hall of Fame Hopefuls — has already been signed and is ready to fulfilled immediately.

In fact, all of Bryant’s autographs for 2013-14 Signatures Basketball have been signed, but narrowly missed packout. An image of the Bryant Hall of Fame Hopefuls autograph card is shown at the end of the gallery and will make for a spectacular contest prize in the coming days.

But until then, sit back and enjoy a pack-by-pack, release-day reveal of three 2013-14 Signatures Basketball boxes.

Looking at the NBA schedule, don’t these post-season releases seem a little…irresponsible?

What is the MSRP on these boxes? It appears there are 2 autos per box. How many cards of each player make up the set?

Curious why you’re able to show the Kobe auto but it’s a redemption…if you already have them in hand, why not just insert them into the packs?

Kobe’s autos arrived too late for packout but will be available to redeem immediately.

The Signatures releases for each respective sport are always a good bang for the collecting buck, excellent job noting about the redemption as I’m sure it will be a big topic of conversation among collectors as they encounter them. Thanks Tracy!

Hi i pulled a 2012-13 Panini Signatures Lebron James card #145 (one of one). Can somebody give me any indication on what it might be worth? Any help would be appreciated.
