Panini America Offers Detailed First Look at 2013-14 Select Basketball (Gallery)

In late June, Panini America’s 2013-14 Select Basketball arrives for a new year bolstered by the confidence of a rousing debut in 2012-13 and equipped with all of the expected bells and whistles — headlined by stunning Prizm technology, plenty of collectible Prizm parallels and popular inserts such as White Hot. In addition, Panini America officials are adding a few new hues to Select’s Prizm chase with the inclusion of Purple (#’d to 99) and Blue (#’d to 49).

Each hobby box of 2013-14 Select Basketball (14 packs, six cards per pack) will deliver two autographs, two memorabilia cards and six Prizm parallels. Every card in 2013-14 Select Basketball is paralleled by a Black Prizm 1/1. The brand also features new autograph inserts in Signatures, Hall Selections Signatures and Franchise Signatures.

Base inserts and subsets in the product — including Rookie Prizm, Rookie Jersey Autographs, Top Selections Jerseys Autographs, Sky High, White Hot and Select Swatches — will be paralleled by five different Prizms to chase, including Purple (#’d to 99), Blue (#’d to 49), Gold (#’d to 10), Green (#’d to five) and Black (numbered to only one).
