The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2014 Prestige Football (141 Sweet Images)

July 2, 2014

Panini America 2014 Prestige Football QC Main

Whatever it is that you appreciate most in an NFL trading card set, chances are 2014 Prestige Football has it. Acetate. Die-Cuts. Oversized Draft Picks box-toppers. Microetching. On-card autographs from the game’s top rookies in their NFL uniforms. Crisp action photography of the game’s top rookies in their NFL uniforms. Prime-stuffed patch cards. A nod to fantasy football. Venerable inserts that have come to define the very brand.

Indeed, that’s the short list of attributes that has 2014 Prestige Football primed for a breakout release when it hits hobby shops one week from today. 2014 Prestige Football delivers three autographs and one Rookie Patch card in every box. Also included in every box: One spectacular oversized box-topper in a nod to the classic 1998 version.

Late last week, Panini America Football Brand Manager Tim Trout was across town at the Panini America printing facility to help conduct the Quality Control and packout processes for the product. Much of what Trout witnessed is showcased in all of its glory below. Enjoy this world-premiere Prestige sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2014 Prestige Football.

WOW! I love these! Minus the rookie headshots, but that’s a minor issue within all the other great designs.

Completely agree, man. I’m with you on the head shots but really think the vast majority of the designs and technologies make this product pop.

Ryan, it shouldn’t be that big of a surprise–nobody writes freehand anymore and cursive is rarely taught in schools.

your auto might not be so great either if you had to sign it so many times in a short period of time.
