Before Packout: Panini America Catches Up with 2014 Certified Football (Gallery)

August 26, 2014

Panini America 2014 Certified Football Pre-Packout Gallery Main

On a trip to the Panini America production facility yesterday to capture the initial wave of packout for 2013-14 Immaculate Basketball (which looks spectacular, by the way), I came across a few sleeves of 2014 Certified Football autographs patiently awaiting their own turn in the packout queue. So in the name of doing the right thing, I snapped as many pics as I could of the cards packed carefully in those sleeves to give you an early idea of what to expect.

Keep in mind that the following gallery includes images from just a few sleeves and is by no means everything that the redesigned 2014 Certified Football has in store for collectors when it releases next Friday. The images do reveal an early look at the fabled Fabric of the Game insert, Freshman Fabric and some of the autographed parallels. Enjoy the early look and stay tuned for complete coverage of the 2014 Certified Football packout process in the coming days.

The auto patches look beautiful if scarce, and the rainbow of auto’d parallels also entice.
Most significantly, I am ecstatic to see cats like Bruce Matthews and Herman Moore get some auto’d love. Can’t wait to check-out the checklist.
    Fun gallery, thanks T-Hack!

I can’t decide which I like better, so many re-designs and improvements. The prime veteran FOTG content, the new Certified Potential layout, it’s almost too much process at once! Thanks Tracy!

Looking great, Tracy! I’ve gotten a box of Certified the past few years and will for sure this year! This one looks like one of the best yet with the monster checklist and draft class this year!

The cards look great, but one big question: did the “Fabric of the Game” Team Name Die-Cuts go away this year??? I, for one, am a HUGE fan of them!

Was Derek Carr replaced with Rewards Points? Don’t see him on the checklist.
