Panini America’s 2014 NFL Player of the Day Set Features Autos, Mem, Cracked Ice

September 4, 2014

Panini America 2014 NFL POD Main

Bolstered by a record-breaking number of participating hobby shops, industry-first autograph cards of several key veterans and the promotion’s first-ever player-worn memorabilia cards, Panini America’s hugely popular NFL Player of the Day promotion delivered arguably its greatest season in the 14-year history of the program. Understandably, expectations are even higher for the upcoming 15th season, which kicks off in earnest in hobby shops across the country next week.

Once again this season, Panini America has teamed up with the NFLPA to deliver one of the most successful and longest-running hobby shop promotions in the industry that will win one lucky collector the chance to spend the day with an NFL player. But with more than 8oo hobby shops registered to participate in the promotion this year, Panini America has seriously raised the bar in terms of set content.

A centerpiece of the promotion every year, this year’s exclusive NFL Player of the Day set not only delivers an 18-card autograph set, it also features player-worn memorabilia cards of 2014’s top rookies and, for the first time ever, Cracked Ice parallels.

For your viewing pleasure below, we offer a massive must-see gallery of this year’s set highlights, including a look at the 25-card base set (13 veterans, 12 rookies) and the accompanying autograph, memorabilia and Cracked Ice cards. Enjoy the gallery and be sure to follow the @PaniniPOD Twitter account all season long for additional updates and for almost-daily chances to win free prizes.

Hmm, maybe each rookie from each team can be able to and make a fan in each team city realy happy by visiting. It will make alot of more fans happy then just one?

The hobby shop locater still is not up yet in case you didn’t know…Are all 800 of these shops brick and mortar? That’s a lot of stores. Where I live in NY there are none within 100 miles of me. Which really stinks as I can never get in on the promos.

Nice looking set, I look forward to the website store locator working so I may find a shop near me (as of 7am est on 9/5 the 2-letter search tool is not working for any state I tried). Thanks Tracy!

I know this post is late, but, was the print run numbers for the cracked ice parallels ever published? I’ve heard rumors, but was hoping for something concrete from Panini. Thanks!!
