iCollectPanini.com Takes 2011 Toronto Fall Expo Wrapper Redemption Virtual

November 8, 2011

Can’t make it to Canada for this week’s 2011 Toronto Fall Expo that begins in earnest on Friday? Don’t fret. Now, as always, Panini America has you covered — on multiple fronts.

It goes without saying that we’ll be conducting a few giveaways this weekend for wrapper-redemption packs and a special card or two from the show right here on The Knight’s Lance. But that’s not the really big news. The really big news is, well, much bigger.

Starting today, collectors who purchase select hockey products on iCollectPanini.com will receive the same wrapper-redemption packs that will be distributed this weekend at the Toronto Fall Expo. You read that right.

Here’s how the program will work through Monday (or while supplies last) on iCollectPanini.com:

  • Collectors will receive six redemption packs for each box of 2010-11 Pinnacle Hockey or 2010-11 Contenders Hockey purchased on iCollectPanini.com
  • Collectors will receive four redemption packs for each box of 2010-11 Zenith Hockey purchased on iCollectPanini.com
  • Collectors will receive eight redemption packs for each box of 2010-11 Luxury Suite Hockey purchased on iCollectPanini.com
  • Collectors will receive one redemption pack for each box of 2011-12 Score Hockey purchased on iCollectPanini.com

It’s that simple. For those of you who can’t make it to Toronto, we’re bringing Toronto to you. And for more information on the boundless goodies inserted into the 2011 Toronto Fall Expo redemption packs, look no further than here, here and here.

I don’t collect hockey but if I did this would motivate me to that site for sure! Can we expect this for future baseball and football promotions? Thanks as always for the great work Panini!

its a great idea however the prices are fairly high compared to what i can get similar boxes for…

would be awesome if you had a redemption program at local card stores for your products…perhaps on canada day (this would help drives sells further for you guys too if you have to buy packs or boxes).

are you guys planning to have some kind of wrapper program in Ottawa at the NHL all star game?

Appreciate the feedback, Armand. Our upcoming Black Friday promotion is an in-store wrapper redemption that we’re extremely excited about. We’ve already released some details but many more are coming. And to answer your All-Star Game question: Yes, we will be conducting a wrapper-redemption program.

I think some shops in Canada are participating. I hope to have a definitive list of participating shops next week.

Very cool idea for those who can’t attend the show. I’m sure collectors are excited for the opportunity to get their hands on some of those redemption packs.
