Award-Worthy: Panini America Sneaks Peek at 2014 Select Football Award Selections

February 21, 2015

Panini America 2014 Select Football Award Selections Preview Main

For collectors who might have been taking a wait-and-see approach to submitting their winning cards in the 2014 Select Football Award Selections interactive redemption program, the wait is over. Now it’s time to see. Panini America officials earlier this week put the finishing pre-production touches on the 100 total cards that are part of the unique program (52 devoted to the New England Patriots and Super Bowl XLIX, and 16 each devoted to NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, Offensive Rookie of the Year Odell Beckham, Jr., and Defensive Rookie of the Year Aaron Donald).

The photos have been selected and placed. The designs have been completed. Following one final round of approvals, the cards will head directly to the printing press where they’ll receive the extra-special Blue Mojo Prizm treatment. After that, they’ll be expedited back to Panini America HQ for shipment to collectors who have submitted — or will soon submit — their winning redemption cards. In the must-see gallery below, we showcase every card in the set.

While you can’t truly appreciate the Blue Mojo Prizm effect in the mockups that follow (we’ll be sure to showcase that once the cards are completed), you can gain a much greater understanding of just how deep these winning sets are — and how each one offers a unique trading-card tribute to the spectacular 2014 seasons produced by Rodgers, Beckham, Jr., Donald and the Patriots.

Collectors holding winning Award Selections cards from 2014 Select Football are encouraged to send them as soon as possible to:

Hey-just out of curiosity. If I had one of the FOUR cards (ODB, Rodgers, Donald, or Pats), would I get a full 100-card Mojo Prizm set? Or would I only get the subset that the card correlated to? Thanks!

Fair question. You would get the set that corresponds with the card you have.

Thanks for the RAPID reply, Sir Tracy! I love you guys! (Now I’m feverishly going to look through my long boxes for that Aaron Donald ROY card I KNOW I had…)

One more question–any chance down the line the full 100-card set would ever be for sale? That Super Bowl 49 set is mint!

that IS a good question… bc this gallery made me regret not trying harder to pick up a few of these in December.

Excellent looking sets, definitely a good return for dedicated collectors who found and held those prediction cards. Thanks Tracy!
