Panini America 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Football Teaser Main

After months of buildup, Panini America is prepared to make hobby history on Wednesday with the long-awaited release of 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Football, the company’s first college-only release since signing nearly 400 universities to exclusive agreements earlier this year. As mentioned previously, the historic release is brimming with the compelling qualities that make any Contenders-branded product sing, including a loaded autograph roster, clean, colorful designs, variations, Cracked Ice parallels and so much more.

Earlier this afternoon, we got our first look at finished boxes of 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Football and were sure to take plenty of pics to document the experience. In the revealing Teaser Gallery that follows, we bring you a pack-by-pack recap of our two-box break, a 48-pack thrill ride that should only raise expectations for a product that has generated more than its fair share of pre-release momentum.

    some REALLY bad names on the autos and is there no on card autos whatsoever in this stuff? you do realize PEOPLE HATE STICKER AUTOS!!!!

    Did the universities sign the contracts with stickers too?

    Very underwhelming. How come these couldn’t be on card since they are in college uniforms?

    This is a product that will have collegiate Football fans applying the face-paint, donning old Jerseys and cracking out top-loaders and hard-cases!
    Whether you like him or not, the Manziel P/P is a sweet pull, as is the Gronkowski auto. And, if the 2 boxes/12 autos is a reliable indicator of what collectors can expect on average? This years’ “Contenders” product will provide collectors with a very impressive ROI.

    Looking forward to securing my own box(es)!

    Whats the differance between buying a retail box vs a Hobby box. Are there cards exclusive to a hobby box? I heard a retail box has 2 auto’s vs a Hobby bx having 5-6 auto . if you look att the price point per box and the autos you recieve wouldn’t it be better to buy the retail bx’s or is there a differance in whats loaded in a hobby box?
